Clean basic rooms with excellent staff and the food was very good. Choice of drinks was also good.
Beds a little small for today's standards but ok.
Room was very clean, comfortable and good value for the price. Breakfast and its service was also very good for a pub venue. The pub itself was very clean and it was one of the most cleanest pub I've been to.

Motel style rooms small but adequate for short stays. Very clean comfy bed good shower great breakfast. Excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom has a brilliant permanent green light that means there is no need to switch on the light in the night if you need to go to the bathroom. The speed of the duty managers response to our complaints.
There are issues with the hygiene in the hotel, the mugs in the room were dirty one of the bath towels had large stains on it. Everything you touch in the bar & dining room were sticky.

Cheap and cheerful. Good location for Forest of Dean. Room was clean and tidy, breakfast was decent. Quick and easy to check in and out.

Very friendly staff, we accidentally booked a twin room and they changed us to a double room, food was GLORIOUS! The dinner was fantastic, drinks were cheap and the breakfast was PHENOMENAL!! Have no idea why this is a 2-star
Only thing I could complain about was our kettle in our room needed some descaling

As a hotel resident I would have liked to be in another part of the complex to eat . Was positioned in the bar area for all meals

Great value hotel. Rooms basic but clean. Food and drink very well priced, nice conservatory and outside sitting areas. Good parking.
One of our group fell off his motorbike in the car park and cut his leg badly.
Trevor from reception/bar went the extra mile and gave him a lift to a nearby hospital. Great service, and thanks again.
