Very basic, unlikely to stay again

Breakfast was delicious and location is good fir exploring forest if dean activities

Cons:

Room was located behind the pub on the bottom floor of a motel like block. Constantly heard the movements and doors of the rooms above, not lod but enough to disturb you. Although cheap, the room was very small and basic

Great Stop Over.....
Pros:

Great stop over on a bike 🏍 trip ! Easy , plentiful parking, nice bar, fair prices, AND breakfast included !!

Cons:

Bar carpet was a mess, needs replacing !

With a reasonably priced restaurant breakfast was outstanding clean and the staff were lovely

No hot water in the shower but they put this right

Would definitely recommend but they need a better system for breakfasts.
Pros:

Convenient location, easy to park, clean, comfy beds and good pub.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit of a shambles - toast was ordered but didn’t arrive, same with vegetarian sausage. Coffee tasted instant - that’s not hard to fix. And there was confusion generally about what’s vegetarian and what’s not. All easy to fix. Other than that it was great.

Nice for a short stay
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and waitresses very good and helpful
Great meals and bar and again nice friendly staff

Cons:

Room was small but ok for 1/ 3 nights any longer you might need a bit more space. Plenty of storage for clothes etc which was good. Shower could do with a deep clean now and again ,fan didn't work or light over mirror not working

Was perfect for a one night stopover en route into Wales.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Very noisy location, road immediately behind where we were and loud music playing in a garden next door.
