Beautiful Basque stay

We loved our stay here. Peaceful, simple but comfortable. Nice breakfast. The owner was very kind to us and gave a warm welcome. The property is beautiful and a great base for walks or visiting the area.

Inolvidable estadía en el País Vasco
Pros:

Excelente opción para alojarse en la zona del Pays Basque Francais. Fui a conocer la tierra de mis bisabuelos. Me sentí como en casa. El anfitrión, Arño, es un genio. Hizo su mayor esfuerzo por hablar el español, nos facilitó la llegada al hotel con las claves de seguridad para ingresar. Y nos dio un desayuno inolvidable, con música argentina, y unos chacinados riquísimos, caseros. Lo pasamos super bien, y lo recomiendo 100%. Es ideal para hacer base y desde allí recorrer la zona con el auto, muy cerquita hay un paraíso que es Saint Jean Pied du Port.

Cuando llegamos no había nadie en recepción. El hotel cerrado y, entramos después de mucha espera con una pareja que estaba alojada y tenía el código de la puerta. No sabíamos cuál era nuestra habitación y entramos en una que tenía una llave en la puerta. Me dijeron que tenía un mensaje por Booking, pero en este mensaje no había número de habitación, ni código. En fin, un desastre.

Idealer Zwischenstopp und erholsam nach vielen Kurven.
Pros:

Der Wirt war sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und humorvoll -auch der große Hund. Frühstück war ausreichend, warme Mahlzeiten und Getränke und Snacks konnte man sich jederzeit aus dem Automaten ziehen (und warm machen). Die Lage am kleinen Bach mit Hühnern und Ziegen idyllisch für Naturfreunde. Ideal für Wanderer, Radfahrer und Motorradfahrer. Heizung konnte für kühle Bergnächte individuell eingeschaltet werden.
