Struggled slightly with the code to get in after hours.

I booked this accommodation because I was working away from home for two weeks and needed somewhere clean, quiet and comfortable to rest after 13-hour shifts. Unfortunately, this property was completely unsuitable for that purpose.

The biggest issue was the noise. I understand that staying above a pub means there will be some noise, but this was on another level. It genuinely felt as though I was inside the bar. During football matches the room vibrated with the volume of the music and customers, making it extremely difficult to sleep. I have stayed in many pubs in busy city centres before and have never experienced anything like this.

For the first four nights I stayed in my originally booked room on the first floor. During that time, I had no reliable hot water in either shared bathroom. Even when I was the first person to shower, the water was often freezing.

When I eventually moved rooms, the noise was still an issue. The property also failed to inform me that I needed to change rooms, despite the fact that I had made two separate reservations and had asked twice whether I would need to move. Once I was moved, the room itself was nicer and one of the bathrooms finally had reliable hot water. However, this appeared to be the only working bathroom available for all of the guest rooms, which I estimate served more than nine rooms.

I had also been offered another room on the upper floor, but the bedside lamp and extractor fan were not working, and it contained two single beds rather than the double room I had booked, so it was not a suitable alternative.

The shared bathrooms were poorly maintained throughout my stay. The floors were frequently wet, there was visible pink mould between the tiles, and the shower drains regularly backed up, bringing dirty brown water and debris onto the shower floor. Combined with the unreliable hot water, this made using the facilities unpleasant and unhygienic.

If you’re visiting for a night out or a gig this place may suit.

The bed was too soft for my back, and there was no latch to lock the door from the inside. When staying alone, I prefer to have a latch, but this door only had the key. You could obviously lock it, but if there was another key, there was not latch inside.

Could have been more plug sockets in the room but that's just nit picking really on my part.

The access door to the rooms was left open all night in a busy pub. This is really unsafe as anyone could go upstairs.

The tv didn’t work which was not helpful for the England game, staff apologised for this but no one tried to fix it

A bit noisy but for obvious reasons. There were fans due to extreme heat, but a bit dirty. Couldn't figure out what 2nd remote for tv was for, would have liked some bbc channels.

Yatak deforme olmuş. Zemin döşemesi çok ses çıkarıyor.

when we got there, they gave us the wrong room key and i ended up walking in on people and that made us anxious about our stay just incase someone could get in our room. didnt expect communal toilets which normally isn’t an issue until it’s very unhygienic and dirty.

It is incredibly rundown and didn’t feel very clean. Also, the room was situated in such a way that the pillows fell behind the bed and one couldn’t really use the clothes hanging space because it was above the electric kettle. The window shade did nothing to block the light from the street lights directly outside. Also, the closet where linens are kept was pretty dank.

There wasn't anything I didn't like

The room could use curtains on top of the blinds as my room was directly next to a street light and the blinds weren't enough to block it out.
