Nothing all was very nice and comfortable

Staff were very friendly, Very helpful
Location, views, food and general vibe.
Having to leave!
We were walking the Coast Path in winter as a family, and this was a lovely place to walk to and stay at. Clean, comfortable, atmospheric and with good food.
But please IOTS, serve proper coffee for breakfast!
The breakfast was fabulous plenty to choose from
Nothing it was perfect
The breakfast was fine and the location was okay
The bedroom was very small. The hotel was generally shabby and needed a good refurb.
The views are beautiful, the sea is wonderful, but we were very disappointed with the hotel.
When we arrived the rooms were not ready, we had no towels in our room. The next morning it turned out that the chef was sick and everyone was left without breakfast. We had to waste time looking to get breakfast else where.
Das Zimmer ok
Essbereich war ansprechend
We received a very warm welcome on arrival, and shown to our pleasant dual aspect room with stunning views of the beach which was almost directly below us. Robin and Benjamin in the bar provided excellent service in the evening, and provided plenty of local information. They are very good ambassadors for the pub. There was a wide choice of options on the menu, with several vegetarian choices. The decor and table layout was good, and the food of good quality for a pub. - not quite fine dining, but exactly what it claims to be. The chef, Aidan, came in early the following morning for our breakfast - uncomplainingly. We couldn't do breakfast justice having eaten too much the night before, but the choices were fabulous. The room, service and food were very good value for money. The location is fabulous - arriving in daylight probably a good idea for those not used to country lanes!
The hotel could have been better signed, but in fairness our satnav had taken us onto a back track rather than approaching on the main road. Eggs a little overdone, and some corners could have been more thoroughly cleaned, but nothing that would stop us going back.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We didn't have a sea view but the room had every facility that you could require. The bed linen and bathroom towels were a good quality and spotless.
We had an evening meal in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Some items were not available; not surprising given that we were staying just after xmas when there were few guests.
Our breakfast was excellent.
Any reviews saying that the decor was tired should appreciate that they were staying in a country pub/inn and not everything is perfect. If they want a perfect decor with all rooms the same they should stay in a city corporate place, not a delightfully unique place as this, with wonderful staff and views. Great value for money.
Absolutely nothing.
Location is great. Views from the room. Breakfast. Dog friendly.
There was a chap who i believe possibly works there who allows his dog to wander off lead around the bar. Both my wife and I were biten at separate times when the dog approached us and we tried to stroke it. Not the dogs fault, just a bad owner and as staff should know better. We were fine but if it was a child it would likely put them off dogs forever. Would have given our stay top marks otherwise because everything else was fine.
All very good friendly staff and great service
The coffee wasn't a fan of coffee bags . They needed mugs not cups
Right on the beech
The staff especially Kerry Ann were exceptional, polite, supportive and helpful. . The setting and the whole ambience of the place was wonderful.
Having to go home. We wished we booked a longer stay.
