Not a 5 star resort
Pros:

We stayed in June (off season) and we were a little unlucky with some very bad weather but the overall experience is not 5 star in any way. The property is very dated and in serious need of refurbishment. The staff are friendly but nothing was outstanding. Spa staff were good but the products were poor.

Cooking at Nayara Easter Island!
Pros:

We were honored to have a cooking class with Chef Henry. We made ceviche with fresh Yellowfin Tuna and all the ingredients were from the island. Mr. Raphael helped translate and also suggested wine pairings to go with the ceviche.

El mejor lugar para alojarse en Isla de Pascua.
Pros:

Excelente cocina. Los restaurantes del hotel son el mejor lugar para comer en la Isla de Pascua. Ubicación muy cerca de todo. Habitaciones amplias, cómodas y con muy buena vista cerca del mar. Todos los paseos muy bien organizados.

An Unforgettable Stay on Rapa Nui – Exceptional Staff, Food, and Excursions!

I recently returned from an absolutely excellent stay at Nayara Hangaroa on Easter Island, and I cannot recommend this property highly enough. From start to finish, the experience surpassed all expectations.

First and foremost, the staff are the heart of this hotel. Every single team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, cared for, and genuinely connected to the local Rapa Nui culture. Their warmth and attentiveness made a lasting impression.

The excursion team deserves a special shout-out. Exploring such a remote, historic, and mysterious island requires knowledgeable guides, and Nayara’s team delivered perfectly. They were incredibly passionate, deeply knowledgeable about the moai and the island’s history, and structured our outings beautifully so we could experience the magic of the island without feeling rushed.

The culinary experience was another major highlight. Every meal was excellent—beautifully prepared, showcasing fresh local ingredients and seafood, and paired with fantastic service.

Given the remote location of the island and the high-end luxury, sustainable design, and top-tier service provided by the hotel, I found Nayara to be an excellent value for everything included. If you are planning a bucket-list trip to Easter Island, do yourself a favor and book your stay here!

Paradise resort on a paradise island
Pros:

This resort is a well oiled machine and takes care of everything from when you arrive on the island until you leave the island. The resort picked us up at the airport and drove us over to the resort. Once you arrive they have someone waiting for you checking you in and going over everything you'll need to know about the place. We had an ocean view room and was amazing. The layout of the room was well done and included a private patio to view the ocean. Included in the room was a mini fridge that was stocked daily with free drinks. The morning breakfast buffet offered a good variety and a friendly staff. We didn't do tours with the resort but they will line that up for you if needed. Once we did our daily tours we would sit on the room's patio and relax. On our last day the resort arranged a ride to the airport.

If you're looking for a place to stay on Easter Island, choose this place. Sure it's a little pricey but in the long run it's worth it. Easter Island is a once in a lifetime vacation, so stay somewhere worth it
