Great location, super nice hosts, and some of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever seen.

Everything! The hosts are super nice and the room and hotel are beautiful! She gave us a free upgrade to a larger, more beautiful room. Really appreciated it. It’s only a 1 minute walk from downtown and the breakfast was delicious!

One of the most unique and beautiful apartments we have ever stayed in! It truly feels like a museum with rich history and much love and care, and meticulous upkeep. Boutique Hotel Musee is truly a gem and not to be overlooked if staying in Gjirokaster. The hosts are incredibly gracious, welcoming and attentive, and very knowledgeable on the area and rich history of Albania. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!!

This was the highlight of my stay in Albania 💯

Beautiful mountain views, very clean room, and genuinely welcoming staff. The hotel has a lot of character—it’s a family-run property with real history. The woodwork is all handcrafted by the grandfather, which makes the place feel special and authentic. Loved the antique furniture and traditional Albanian style.

Pros:

Мы отдыхали в не сезон и владелец отеля сразу отдал нам большой люкс, вместо забронированного стандартного номера. Номер был невероятным. Мы рассматривали каждую деталь. Ощущение , что находишься в музее. При этом очень чисто, не пыльно, удобные матрасы.

Pros:

El hotel es pintoresco, porque es una casa otomana reformada y es precioso dormir ahí. La ubicación también está genial, porque está cerca de todo, pero sin estar en el bazar ni el centro.
Tiene parking justo delante y siempre hay sitio, que ahí se agradece mucho.

Cons:

El desayuno, pese a ser completo, no estaba muy rico. Es cierto que cada día hacían pequeñas variaciones, que se agradecen, pero aún así, dejaba un poco que desear. El café no estaba nada rico.

Don’t miss this one when visit Gjirokastër
Pros:

The home is unique traditional Albania house. Lovely family greeting you at the front door from the moment you arrived to the Time you leave. Check in early was no issue. Breakfast was prepared based on your time with home cooking meal, fresh and delicious. Extremely tentative and easy walk to the main bazaar.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist wunderschön. Die Zimmer bieten grosszügig Platz, sind sehr schön im traditionellen Stil eingerichtet und alles ist makellos sauber. Die Besitzer sind extrem freundlich, dabei aber zurückhaltend und nie aufdringlich. Auch die Lage ist fantastisch, in der Altstadt und doch ruhig.
