Amazing host and perfect location
Pros:

We truly enjoyed the location, and the host was an exceptional individual. He provided significant assistance and ensured our stay was very comfortable. The breakfast was quite delightful.

Cons:

Our only minor concern was a sewage odor in the bathroom, which was resolved by keeping the door closed. Additionally, the room size was quite compact compared to others, though it was perfectly adequate for our one-night stay. We do understand that such characteristics can sometimes be expected when staying in a historic castle.

Amazing family run hotel, host showed and explained everything that we need to know.
You can pay by card here, both for hotel and restaurant. Room is really cozy.

Castle area is interesting to explore, so you can walk here at day or night to see city in different lightings. Parking is inside of the castle near the hotel.

Absolutely perfect - we couldn't have wished for a better hotel to start our holiday in Albania!
Pros:

The host and his family were incredibly welcoming, the location was STUNNING (you're inside the castle walls, how often can you say that?!), and the hotel had such a lovely charm about it. On top of that, the breakfast and food at the restaurant is amazing, and at such great prices. This was such a lovely gem of a hotel. There was plenty of nearby parking inside the city walls, too, and it's very easy to get to from the road the North of Berat.

The hotel is family-run, all members really friendly and warm. Excellent location within the castle ruins on the hill. Good home-cooked food served in the restaurant by very friendly members of the family.
