A Charming Hotel with Outstanding Hospitality
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Klea in Berat Castle. The host was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

The hotel itself is beautiful, full of character, and has a warm, authentic atmosphere that makes it feel much more personal than a typical hotel. The location inside the castle is fantastic, allowing you to enjoy the historic surroundings even after most day visitors have left. Another big advantage is that you can park your car right next to the hotel, which is very convenient.

We also highly recommend having dinner at Hotel Klea. It was the best meal of our entire trip to Albania—delicious homemade food, generous portions, and excellent hospitality.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you're exploring Berat on foot, the walk up from the city center to the castle is quite steep and can be challenging, especially in hot weather or if you have limited mobility. However, staying inside the castle more than makes up for the climb.

We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Klea to anyone visiting Berat.

Séjour exceptionnel avec un accueil hors pair.
Pros:

très bon accueil, responsables hyper sympathiques, bienveillants. Cuisine excellente avec un point particulier pour l'excellent nougat glacé! Excellent emplacement (escarpé). Maison avec beaucoup de caractère, authentique.

Cons:

Les installations sanitaires (siphon défectueux), manque de luminosité.

Pros:

Der Inhaber war sehr herzlich und hat uns noch Tipps für die restliche Reise geben können. Außerdem ist das dazugehörige Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen, sowohl das Essen als auch der Service. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Die Lage in der Burg ist ebenfalls toll für einen Aufenthalt in Berat. Auch das Frühstück war reichlich und liebevoll von der Mama zubereitet.

Cons:

Das Zimmer könnte etwas größer sein, aber man weiß ja was man bekommt. Daher kein Kritikpunkt am Hotel
