Hotel Milan

Really liked this hotel. Great location, helpful staff, convenient free parking, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Lots of restaurants near the hotel. Reasonably close (20 min. draive) to the Cerro Cathedral ski area. Also close to the lake.

We stayed at Hotel Milan during our recent visit to Bariloche. The location is great, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was very helpful, especially Pablo. The hotel is right across the street from the cathedral and within a 10 to 15-minute walk to anything else you might want to visit. We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay there.

Nice hotel with friendly staff (both at front desk and service), a good location and value for money. Be aware that there is no air conditioning nor are there any fans installed. Breakfast is basic but tasty. I would stay again.

Hotel is right next to the cathedral/church in the center of town. Small but comfortable room. Staff was very helpful in findind a rental car, etc. Small breakfast buffet with good coffee for the aficionado...

This is a lovely clean hotel. It is small but comfortable and the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. They also speak good English. The hotel is close to the shops and also the beautiful lake. Bariloche has a wealth of chocolate shops and is close to the ski slopes.

Our room had a window to a tiny court yard which acted a little like an amplifier. The two families arriving in the middle of the night and running between each others rooms talking loudly provided the noise from the hall. Another resident with an open window into the court yard seemed to enjoy all night cartoon watching at full blast. The reception staff were very nice and the breakfast of an average - good standard. This hotel cannot be beaten for location though.

I came upon this place by chance. The rooms are clean & adequate ... Friendly & helpful staff ... Highly recommended ....... The only criticism is that the recommended restaurant was not good ".........

I travel a lot to Bariloche for business purposes and I frequently go to different hotels. Hotel Milan is without a doubt my top choice. It is located in a very good place, near to the Cathedral and at half a block of the main street, Av. Mitre.

The breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. and is very complete. It is not American breakfast with eggs and sausages, but with fruits, cereal, yogurt, jam, cheese, coffee and assorted infusions.

Bedrooms are nice, all renovated. All rooms have carpet. They don't have roof ventilators nor A.C., but you mostly will need good heaters in Bariloche and they have them. Bathrooms are new also. Some of them with a bathtub, and some others only with a shower.

They provide parking free of charge in the same block, at less than 50 meters from the hotel.

Internet access is good enough. They provide free WiFi access with a router on each floor. Also you will find two state-of-the-art computers at the lobby with Internet access.

They do not offer Restaurant service in the hotel, but you will find a lot of nice Restaurants near. You can also request some beverages like water, sprinkle water, or beer. The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator if you want to bring your own drinks.

Hotel does not have a fitness center.

We had a nice time in this family driven hotel. The room was clean and comfortly in size. Nice breakfast. Our spanish is limited, but the staff was very helpful in finding tours and arranging them at the right price. Recommended.

The lobby has been renovated as well as the bathrooms. Very friendly, quiet and good location. Best choice in Bariloche. Free guarded parking is a plus as it can be difficult to park in the street. Everything is perfect, breakfast with local marmelades, expresso, capuccino...Walking distance from several restaurants and shopping areas. 1 block from the lake shore to enjoy the view. 5 blocks from Civic Center again for the view and the St Bernard dogs...

Friendly and helpful staff in very clean and well-run hotel in beautiful Bariloche. Well situated for all the eating places with the lake only 1 minute walk away. good value. We stayed for 2 nights there on our way from Puerto Varas in Chile before catching the overnight coach to the other side of Patagonia to see the whales etc. near Puerto Padryn
