Ein schönes Hotel in Ehrfeld.
Zimmer, Badebereich sehr gut.

Cons:

Das WIFI-Netz erinnerte mich an die Anfänge des Internet-Zeitalters.
Tempo unterirdisch, was in einem 4*-Hotel nicht zu erwarten ist.

Pros:

Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Ausgezeichnetes Abendessen. Zimmer geräumig und gemütlich. Die Aussicht vom Hotel auf Schneefernerkopf Ehrwalder Sonnenspitze, Grebenstein etc. ist phantastisch. Insgesamt empfehlenswert. Wir würden wieder dort buchen.

Cons:

Im Zimmer war kein Bidet vorhanden. Die Beschreibungen bei Booking sind nicht akkurat. Das sollte geändert werden.

Pros:

Personale gentile e disponibile. Camera grande con vista montagne. Parcheggio incluso. Ottima posizione per percorsi in montagna.

Cons:

Il cibo era di pessima qualità sia a colazione che a cena. Un esempio pratico: una delle sere l'antipasto della cena prevedeva zuppa di porro (palesemente presa dalla busta visto che si sentiva ancora la polverina in bocca) con chips di patata (palesemente patatine stile San Carlo prese direttamente dalla busta). La piscina della spa non è grande e permettono a bambini di tutte le età di giocare a palla sia nella zona al coperto che al chiuso. La zona tranquilla della spa è molto piccola e senza piscina. Le saune e il bagno turco erano a temperature altissime e intollerabili per la maggior parte dei clienti. Davvero un peccato. Mi aspettavo una migliore qualità considerando il prezzo abbastanza alto.

Ein Hotel zum wohlfühlen und genießen
Pros:

Tolle Lage mit direktem Blick auf die Zugspitze (und in die Zugspitz Arena). Alle waren sehr nett. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Freie Getränke auch dort. Der Pool ist auch klasse (Innen- und Außenpool). Frühstück, die Mittagsjause und das Abendessen sind top. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal hier und werden wiederkommen. Gratis parken vor dem Hotel ist auch perfekt. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön.

Cons:

Mir fällt nichts negatives ein.

Super traditional hotel in Ehrwsld but food could be better
Pros:

Great position for trekking
Easy to park
Swimming pool was heated and in ok condition
The room was large with a great view

Cons:

The sheets and towels could be higher quality
The breakfast was poor in my opinion. Could be improved easily

Excellent both indoors and outdoors, and at least I got a super deal!

Regarding the first bonus question if the price matched expectations I actaally thought I was getting a very good deal as I bought it. If anything it turned out even better.
As for the rest: Location is fantastic with the lush green of the valley floor and the sides in contrast to the white and black mountain tops was superb. A very nive 9-hole, very flat golfcourse in the valley, but with lots og OB and water it was still a challenge. Due to unlucky rain my main day there I did not get to try any of the numerous walks in the area. My two days was at least few days too short a stay.
The hotel is in the usual Alpine fashion, which means very comfortable. Service was very good all around, and the dinner very capable made indeed. Also took care of my dietary obstacles in stride,

Cons:

Not controlling the weather is the closest I get to being negative, and of course quite silly. Very detailed: they could have som rye bread that doesn't contain wheat. the would have made breakfast even better for someone like my. And rye bread is something the have in all supermarkets in thet area of Europe.
