Historic Building in beautiful suburb. Comfy family room.
Pros:

Excellent location. We stayed in a family room with a double and two singles. Room was big enough for our 4 packs and us to all move around at the same time. Beds were comfy, and we had tea, coffee facilities and a bar fridge. There is a little common area with lounge, books and a few cups, plates, utensils and a fridge. There is an upstairs outdoor terrace available if the upstairs cottage is not booked. Battery Point is a great place to walk around and there are a couple of great cafes and restaurants nearby. We walked into the harbour area - maybe a 10 minute walk. Staff were very responsive to our questions prior to arrival. It was a complete self check in (we arrived early evening). Housekeeping team were lovely. Nice historic building.

Location and value good, but otherwise a little disappointing.
Pros:

Location great. Easy walk to Salamanca Market. Lovely part of Hobart. A few places to eat. A bit hilly.
Room huge. Nice to have a sofa. Bathroom adequate.

Cons:

No one is ever at reception, so if you wanted some tips, or help, you have to ring. Beds very hard, and neither of us slept well. Place definitely tired and old now, carpet wrinkled, furniture needs sanding and polishing.
Facilities definitely minimal. Would be nice to even have a locally made biscuit there, some fresh milk. Little things would really improve things, given there is no breakfast on site.
The view is definitely not as advertised on the ground floor! And access to the top terrace was not possible.

A great base for our few days in Hobart
Pros:

We loved our stay in the garden apartment. It is spacious, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a few days in Hobart. It was lovely being able to open the doors out to the garden plus you even get water glimpses. It is in a fantastic position in beautiful Battery Point so despite having a car we walked most places.
The kitchen and bathrooms were very modern and the beds were very comfortable. Overall we were very happy here.

Gorgeous building in a superb location that was fantastic value
Pros:

Beautiful old building with loads of character in an amazing location. Super quiet, beautiful streets to walk around, really safe, great off street parking, huge room and comfy beds, really clean and lovely sunrise views over the river every morning, great option of microwave and extra crockery for breakfast, great size fridge and tea and coffee replenished daily was wonderful

Breathtaking views in a grand building
Pros:

Location was perfect! The views from the Riverview apartment were superb and worth every cent for that alone. Beds were super comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Cons:

Air conditioner in one of the rooms was broken and non-existent in another, but the weather was mild during our stay so we made do. Kitchen amenities were basic and would not have been enough to prepare a simple meal eg no oil, salt/pepper, paper towels, grill/oven. But I guess you don’t visit Hobart and plan to cook, so this wasn’t super inconvenient but merely a heads up for people to plan around if they want to cook.

Loved it.
Pros:

Loved staying here, it was perfectly located for our stay and a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was passable not fantastic but done the job. We were fortunate enough to have the first night with no one booking the top balcony and was able to get out and see the full moon over the water, was stunning. I also loved being close to the water walking down in the morning with a cup of tea to watch the sun rise. Communication with the property management was great and location to nice places to eat at or grab a coffee all walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

There could be some modern updates like paint and furniture but really not that necessary.
