A great stay at Cradle Mountain area
Pros:

The unit is very cozy, clean and very welcoming especially after a long hike at The Cradle Mountain. The owner, is very accommodating. The WIFI is fast, and the water pressure at the shower is perfect. Bed is very comfty with a heated blanket.

Cons:

Nothing. This place is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy Cradle Mountain. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity to come back to the area comes out.

Staff were so helpful, we were very tired and grateful for meals in our fridge on arrival. Lovely bath soak to relax muscles after Cradle Mountain walk.

Pros:

Only stayed one night but our chalet was spacious and very comfortable. Anita went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable. Timtams were a lovely treat. Chicken and sweet corn soup was delicious and a great way to end our day and visit to Cradle Mountain.

Comfort in the wilderness.
Pros:

The perfect base for exploring Cradle Mountain! And we loved the room - very warm, snug and cosy, with Timtams as that extra thoughtful touch.. Our hosts Anita and Dwayne were also very welcoming and accommodating. And the incredibly blue hydrangeas flowering around the chalets were magnificent.

Quiet bush setting
Pros:

Chalets are clean, neat, comfortable and compact. Beds and pillows are comfortable, bathroom had both a shower and a bath which was relaxing after a long walk. Great place to watch animals at night come out of bush.
Could order food from cafe and it would be placed in your fridge, 30 minute drive to Cradle Mountain. Staff were very friendly, nice quiet bush setting with Wi-Fi.

Pros:

The Gateway Chalets are in a great location not far from Cradle Mountain.
We spent 3 days up there and drove to the mountain each day - and it didn't take too long.
The rooms were simple and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Cons:

It would have been good to have curtains / coverings on the front door to keep the room darker at night.
