Lovely old building, great surrounds to explore, pool and spa

The restaurant and wait staff were excellent. Food and wine amazing.
The room was tiny and cramped. The ensuite was very close and quite a step up into it.

The room was small. The bedding was too warm and in the morning, there was a crane right in front of our window on the top floor, doing some work on the roof
Beautiful historic building, comfy bed, great shower, quiet, breakfast and dinner were amazing, staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The pool and gym were good too. Free access to the old mansion next door was really interesting. Lovely gardens to explore.
The only thing that was a bit weird was the bed wasn't made very well. This was probably just a one off oversight.
We really enjoyed our last-minute stay at Lancemore, Werribee Park… We arrived later in the evening, but still managed to have a couple of rounds of snooker on the huge table in the foyer!
I had read a few reviews online prior to booking.. *yes the beds are soft, but we had a great sleep!
*yes the rooms are small, but comfortable & cosy.
*yes the buffet breakfast might not have a massive spread, but it definitely has ample to choose from and what many other hotels offer. We couldn’t complain!
We had somewhere we had to be the next morning, but came back in the afternoon for our complimentary tour of the Mansion. The garden & grounds were so peaceful, even though it seemed quite busy. Our lunch in the Parlour Cafe was delicious and our tour of the mansion was great!

The dinner was amazing
The room is a little dated , chipped bed end, shower not draining. Room and bathroom was very small. Price was a lot for what you got. Trying to call hotel number of times and not getting through.

I can’t complain bout anything
Very comfortable bed, beautiful view from room, good water pressure in the shower. The windows opened which was just lovely to let in birdsong and fresh air. Very nice to walk in the lovely grounds. The opening hours of the pool were excellent, pool was great, and clean, with plenty of soft towels.
We thought we’d treat ourselves to a fancy dinner at Joseph’s restaurant. Such a disappointment. The food was expensive and when our meals arrived, the side dish was so badly burnt I couldn’t get it all out of the dish. The whole dinner experience was just not pleasant. We would never eat in again.
