Great location, value and enjoyable meals
Pros:

I was well aware of the shared bathroom, and I was pleasantly surprised by both the bathroom and a new feeling room. A few of my group of over 40 for dinner stayed the night and caught up with a cuppa in the shared kitchen/lounge upstairs which was handy.

Good central location for exploring YP.
Pros:

The manager couldn’t have been more helpful in sorting out a room swap to a one that better suited me for a range of reasons. The bed was comfortable and the location was convenient for the event I was in town for. Enjoyed the meals in the dining room.

Cons:

The doors were very heavy. I could manage them, but I know my mum wouldn’t have been able to open the outside door in particular.

Very disappinting
Pros:

The associated restaurant had a few interesting meals well served. Very good for a down and out hotel.

Cons:

A very grotty tiny room with a fridge squeezed in as a bedside tablen. The room was only suitable for a single bed. This did not match Booking.com's description. We were offered a marginally larger room but e had to pay $15 extra and it was still pretty minimal. However, we were the only guest that night. AVOID IT.
