Pleasant stay in a beautiful classic hotel with great staff
Pros:

Very good location with private parking. Art deco pub and reception. Clean rooms. Town center is in walking distance. Great staff and a breakfast buffet with lots of choices.

Cons:

We could not have dinner, that was on reservation only. Some rooms are a bit small. You can hear the noisy of the street in de rooms on the frontside.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen
Pros:

Die Lage, gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof, fünf Gehminuten bis ins Zentrum, ist optimal. Trotz der direkten Nähe zur belebten Straße war es in meinem (zum Innenhof gelegenen) Zimmer auch tagsüber absolut ruhig. Aufgrund der Witterung erwies sich die sehr effiziente Heizung als ein Segen. Ebenso die bestens funktionierende Dusche und, natürlich, das sehr angenehme Bett. Weiterhin befindet sich die Ausstattung im Top-Zustand, die Sauberkeit ist überall makellos. Das gesamte Haus lebt (samt der dazugehörigen Restauration und seiner engagierten Leitung) von einer ungezwungenen Atmosphäre aus Gemütlichkeit und gastgeberischer Sorgfalt, die auf Anhieb dazu einlädt, sich rundum wohl zu fühlen.

Cons:

Das WLAN war am späten Abend etwas wacklig, die Batterien der TV-Fernbedienung offenbar leer. Das Frühstück (Aufpreis 14,- €) war zwar recht reichhaltig, im Detail (Brotauswahl, Obstfrische) jedoch noch verbesserungswürdig. Am wenigsten hat mir jedoch die Kürze meines Aufenthalts gefallen. In diesem Hotel wäre ich sehr gerne länger geblieben, um von ihm aus von der interessanten Stadt und ihrer reizvollen Umgebung in aller Ruhe noch mehr zu entdecken.

Patronne super gentille et attentionnée. Elle nous a préparé le petit déjeuner plus tôt juste pour nous et celui-ci fut délicieux et copieux.

Pros:

Hôtel depuis plus d'un siècle, simple et authentique. Un très beau bâtiment, à deux pas de la gare et des bus qui vont vers la campagne ou les Fagnes. Accueil chaleureux. Possible de prendre le petit déjeuner dans le bar/brasserie au rez-de-chaussée, avec ses belles boiseries. On a beaucoup aimé ! L'exact contraire des grandes chaînes internationales d'hôtels qui se ressemblent tous, où qu'ils soient.

Belle expérience
Pros:

Très bel accueil. L'hôtel est bien tenu, respect au niveau bruit, chambre spacieuse, parking privé et petit déjeuner délicieux. Merci à notre hôte qui a bien voulu décaler le petit déjeuner plus tôt cela nous a permis une organisation au top.

Cons:

Lit un peu trop dur pour nous au 2eme mais c'est une appréciation personnelle.

Sehr zentrale Lage, super freundliches Personal, sehr gemütliches Restaurant.
Absolut fairer Preis im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels der Gegend!!!

Cons:

Heerlijke plek voor een bezoek aan Verviers
Pros:

Heel vriendelijk personeel, suite was heerlijk alsook de bedden

Cons:

Persoonlijk hou ik niet zo van een open badkamer, die wel mooi ingericht was. Zeker een toilet mag in een afgesloten ruimte.
