Location was QUITE ok and we were able to leave our luggage 2 days in a safe place.
WHO in this planet puts a ancient CRT TV in ANY room?. This is really worse than no TV at all.. really.. it's just disrespectful. Just throw it away + it didn't even work. During my whole 2 weeks trip incl. multiple Argentinian & Brazilian location I only had some horrible allergic issues in this hotel. Turned out, they had some cats walking around.....
Location was excellent. Very unique architecture of the building.
Bathroom was too small and had stains of mold on the floor.
Great location!
Margarita, the host, is super nice and friendly - she's the highlight of this hotel :)
The room is cleaned every day. The shower has good pressure and the water is warm.
Pictures do not reflect the reality of the hotel. The room is very old and degraded. Could be cleaner (there was hair on the sheets and cigarettes' holes). There's no bath tub, you shower with your feet on the bathroom floor and everything around you gets wet.
Friendly staff. Very helpful.
Facility, pictures on booking do not reflect the true conditions of the facility.
The owner was helpful and friendly. It was a simple room with a comfortable bed. We loved the location with lots of cafes nearby. The owner had an electric kettle for us to use in the common area. Room
Is small but fine for a few days
We liked the location although the road outside was noisy. The bathroom is tiny and everything in it gets wet when you shower
The staff was really nice although noone speaks English and our Spanish is not so great. Despite that, everything could he discussed via some charades or with the help of the translator. The older counter lady is just a treasure. Other than that, just a backpackers-friendly place. Nothing exceptionally great but good for a short stay and with comfortable location for tourists. Area was safe. It's quite close to metro station. Plus, they've let us leave the baggage for half a day
Our room was nest to a shared space and the walls are really thin so it was quite loud once other hostel guests were having a dinner party. Other than that, everything's good.
The staff is lovely, and the hotel has a fantastic location, tourism-wise. Lots of great restaurants nearby, too - which is useful since they don't offer breakfast.
Payment is cash only. This was a very unfortunate surprise, as it can be hard to come buy trustworthy money exchange places around town.
There is a gym right next to the hotel, which gets obnoxiously loud all day long and into the night. Walls are very thin, so loud guests in other rooms/floors made it even harder to get some peace and quiet at any given time. Not just that, but rooms do not have blackout windows, and there are always on lights tight outside. It was borderline impossible to get a decent night of sleep without earplugs and a mask on.
The bathroom was also very small. Sufficient, sure, but very tight overall.
There's no safe in the room. While I didn't feel like I would need one, it would've given me some much needed extra peace of mind.
Room service did not take place every day. It was inconsistent for no apparent reason.
If you're a light sleeper, this may not be the best choice. If you plan on staying out all day long walking, sightseeing, and enjoying the lively city of Buenos Aires to the point of being too tired to care, then this is a decent cost benefit option.
The location was excellent and the property was clean and nice.
The staff were very helpful. My room was large and quiet. Location was good.
There was no toilet paper and the bidet did not work well (little pressure).
