A quiet room in a safe and interesting neighborhood
Pros:

this is an old style hotel where there is always staff at the front desk and you leave your key when you go out. Location is great - walking distance to museums and lots of great restaurants including wonderful Armenian restaurants like Sarkis and Querida Rosa. In the lobby there is free hot and cold water and at breakfast (after 7:30 am) there is endless hot coffee with hot milk as well. I have seen complaints on Booking about the breakfast but you can get great empanadas around the corner for $1. Most importantly for me, the rooms have air conditioning and are QUIET (which can be hard to find in Buenos Aires)!

Cons:

Like many older buildings, the walls often have crumbling paint. There is always more maintenance to do but, in general, this hotel is well-run and kept clean.

Económico y confortable.
Pros:

Lo mejor es la ubicación. La habitación cumple, limpian y dan elementos de baño, nada de lujos pero por el precio está muy bien. El ambiente es super tranquilo. Volvería.

Cons:

El desayuno se podría mejorar con mínimos detalles. Manteca, por ejemplo, o medialunas. Me parece que necesita algo más. Igual pensé en comprar medialunas afuera y servirme, no creo que hagan problema.
