This was my second stay. BE CAREFUL, the male receptionist in this hostel named Tihomir scammed me by not providing me the room I booked with Booking.com, despite that I confirm my booking the day before and I was assured that my reservation is in order. I boked for 2 nights and I arrived at 7pm and he denied to check me in and even wanted to kick me out and to look for a another hotel. He wanted to cancel my reservation out of the sudden, because he said I didn't booked with breakfast and some other person is in my booked room. I was in shock and very scared being advise to look for another Hotel, that late in the evening. To top it off, he was so arrogant telling me, he will make an exception and will let me stay by offering me another room with small bed, broken aircon, leaking bathroom. He wanted to cancel my reservation out of the sudden, because he said I didn't booked with breakfast and some other person is in my booked room. Probably some more important person who eats in the morning. I was in shock and very scared being advise to look for another Hotel, that late in the evening. To top it off, he was so arrogant telling me, he will make an exception and will let me stay by offering me another room with small bed, broken aircon, leaking bathroom.
The receptionist after trying to scam me and not accept my reservation from Booking.com, he wanted me to pay cash and told me that the card reader is not working. No reason, just angry, arrogant behavior coming from nowhere. After 10 min some other people came in and out of the sudden, he offered me to pay with card, so I guess miraculously the card reader starts working. I was able to pay with my Visa. I guess he also wanted to steal my cash, cancel officially my reservation through Booking.com and put my money in his pocket - a proud bulgarian man, but because at the time some other people came in, the trick didn't work.
I asked if the restaurant is working and he told me, he doesn't know and that I should go in the restaurant and ask????
I travel around the world all the time but I never experience such really bad attitude. It was very cold in the room in my entire stay and I got sick. There was no one else to complain to, this individual was on duty the whole time, no other people in this terrible hostel. Like a ghost hostel.
Perhaps they are hiring really unstable people, I don't know but I will never stay again in this hell. Location doesn't justify what may happened to you.

Завтрак чисто символический, ничего горячего. Мизерная Нарезка брынзы и колбасы и чай из дешёвого пакетика. Ещё тосты с джемом. В столовой холодно в начале марта

El canal del baño estaba atascado, una persona duchándose el baño se lleno con 4 dedos de agua
Location: a short walk to the bus and train station and very near to the pleasant and central Bogoridi str. A lift to the upper floors. AC heating, but good enough for the room.
Cold in the bathroom; no kettle, no vending machines, once there you can't get yourself a cup of coffee or tea. Tap water is worse than in other places in Bulgaria. Normally it's good and drinkable, but there it tasted strange, so I refrained.
