The Pub is on the main st, close to restaurants & cafes. Very clean & recently renovated rooms & shared bathrooms. Good pub meals & friendly staff

Pros:

Shared bathrooms are the best I've come across in country pub accommodation. Toilets, basins, and showers are very clean, tastefully designed, and fantastic to use.

Pros:

Molly, Angel and Elizabeth were wonderful. Telling us history on the Hotel and places to visit. Would definitely stay again. And don't let anyone tell you Elizabeth that Goon sunrises won't sell..lol..looking forward to our next visit.

Have stayed there before. It's a great hotel.

Cons:

We were woken up by trades working outside our room before 8am. We had been travelling a long distance and needed to sleep and had organised a late check out. We left tired as a result which is problematic when travelling on a motorcycle.
I also had to walk under a ladder over a drop sheet to access the bathroom facilities.

Convenient location
Pros:

Location was great.
Shared bathroom was modern and clean.

Cons:

Pillows and towels were terrible; thin and old. The bed was under long window curtains that hit your head when in bed. The TV was so high on the wall you couldn’t sit in a chair and watch it; you had to lie flat. Heater barely enough to keep warm.
