Handy location, clean comfortable room, good restaurant.
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located and near the train station which we like. Plenty of parking is available too. Our room had a small dining table and 2 dining chairs which was most appreciated. Bed is comfortable. The meals in the restaurant are good with plenty of options; we always book as it can get busy. There is sometimes load music in the restaurant, which can be heard in the guest rooms, but noise stops by 10pm. Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay, we have stayed a number of times and will do so again.

Cons:

Traffic can be a bit noisy at times. Our room had a small side table next to one side of the bed, would be helpful to have a small table the other side of the bed too. The microwave and kettle are in the wardrobe where there is a power point - they take up space and should really be on the bench next to the wardrobe but there isn't a power point handy.

Great spot - would stay again
Pros:

The room was very clean and quiet. Bed comfy. Only one sachet of coffee - so perhaps more would be good? Meal in the bistro was delish. This was also a Sunday and there was live music (Charly) which was excellent. Thank you so much

Clean bed and own bathroom.

Cons:

It didn't have any fork, knife or plates. Only 1 cup , 1 tsp, 1 plastic glass - that all. Even it does have a microwave and a bar fridge.

Central location, bistro food was very good.

Cons:

Mould in room, tap and shower fittings not properly secured, outside door not properly sealed so very cold. Minimal bedding, very noisy road.

A good comfortable room centrally located
Pros:

The staff were very good, was upgraded by the young girl in the bar due to a maintenance issue which she addressed promptly. Meal downstairs was lovely and the location excellent

Cons:

Being a Friday night it was very noisy. I had a bad sleep the night before so was hoping to get an early night. There was a band playing and the music was thumping. I guess it’s to be expected, but as id stayed here on a Friday before wasn’t aware that this might have been on.

Clean and spacious - good food
Pros:

Close to my daughter's house. The food is great. The room was spotlessly clean and a clean and spacious ensuite.

Cons:

The stairs - I have knee issues. However I was aware that there would be stairs so this is not a complaint.

A cosy hotel very close to shops and restaurnts.
Pros:

The hotel is central very close to the shopping centre and the train station. The Wifi was excellent!

Cons:

My room this time was just above the bar. The music played at the bar of the restaurant did bother me especially on Fridays and Saturdays. The music played for very long time at night. Next time I will request a room because the rooms have names. I am quite familiar with the hotel.
