Value for money with great staff
Pros:

Good value, great staff, .....,

Cons:

Room could do with a deeper clean (eg... dust on the hanging rack which transferred to my white shirt - not a deal breaker)

Clean, comfortable and good value.
Pros:

Old building with lots of charachter.
Helpful staff.
Location was great.
It was nice to have a lock up shed to store bikes in.
The dining room onsite served excellent meals.

Cons:

Breakfast room was a bit cold in the morning.

Perfect combo
Pros:

The room was super comfortable, and the bathrooms were fantastic!

Cons:

The noise from the pub downstairs was obvious, but it really didn't bother me much. Was quiet by about 10ish each night I was there anyway

Comfortable rooms
Pros:

Lovely pub to stay in. Nice and quiet after about 10pm.

Cons:

Breakfast provided chia pots, or cereal, but there were no spoons, nor staff around to request. Luckily we had cutlery in our car as we had been camping. There was toast, but only vegimite or butter to spread.

Great budget accommodation and good meals.
Pros:

Great location and friendly staff and the shared facilities were clean.

Cons:

The laundry was only open from 3pm which was a bit annoying if you wanted to wash clothes in the morning and let them dry outside. The rooms are also not very soundproof so you can hear everything people are saying from the dining room in the bedrooms above.

Pros:

The staff were so great here, lots of smiles and super polite. They even put aside two parmas for us before the kitchen closed which was so kind so cannot fault the staff. The shared bathrooms and showers were great. It’s in a perfect location, waking up in the middle of Derby was amazing.

Cons:

The bedroom was fine, basic but did what it said on the tin. I don’t think it was the cleanest place I had ever stayed, the floors were a bit grimmy and the women’s bathroom downstairs was full of mosquitoes.

Pros:

All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We discovered checking out the laundry is locked at night. At that time in the morning we couldn't find a key to get in to retrieve our clothes. Installing a similar system to that of the bike shed would be great.
