Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll und detailgetreu restauriert. Bei schönem Wetter ist die Aussicht auf der Frühstücksterrasse unschlagbar.

Cons:

Dies ist nur ein Hinweis, den man beachten sollte: entgegen der Booking.com-Auskunft, dass freie Parkplätze zur Verfügung stehen, ist die Unterkunft weder mit dem Auto anfahrbar (sie befindet sich mitten in engen Altstadtgassen, die mit Gepäck bergauf bewältigt werden müssen), noch gibt es freie Parkplätze in der Nähe. Sie können in der Nähe einen Parkplatz gegen Gebühr von zehn Euro erhalten, sofern er frei ist. Ansonsten müssen Sie ihr Auto sehr weit weg - quasi vor den Toren der Stadt - kostenfrei abstellen. Insbesondere der Gepäcktransport ist sehr mühselig und umständlich. Bedenken Sie dies beim Packen.

Really beautiful guest house in an amazing location
Pros:

Characterful refurbished hotel done to an amazing standard and with amazing views. Also very clean and comfortable with outside spaces to enjoy. The hosts were really friendly and breakfasts were superb.

Pros:

Terrassen är den största fördelen med boendet. Fantastisk utsikt i charmig och mysig miljö.

Cons:

Överprisat och känns girigt.
Hetsig service. Vänlig ägare men ack så tröttsam. Ingen slipper undan kontinuerlig beskrivning av hur stället renoverades under 5 år och hur mycket arbete det var med det och oändliga beskrivningar av vilka "kända" personer som bott i de olika rummen.
Tillgängligheten är dålig för någon med dåliga knä. Mycket trappor både till hotellet och inom hotellet.
Sängen kändes som en vattensäng, man kan inte vända sig utan att väcka sin partner. Det går inte att duscha utan att man samtidigt tvättar golvet.

Increible estadia, recomiendo este alojamiento

La terraza es increible y el desayuno riquísimo. Las habitaciones en buen estado tambien.

Cons:

La llegada al hotel es medio caotica por donde esta ubicado. Específicamente si venis en auto, las calles son muy estrechas y no podes dejar el auto en casi ningún lado

Originally their family home, Hotel Vila Aleksander has been beautifully restored and enlarged to create a wonderful place to stay while in Berat. Located high up in the ancient Mangalem quarter, the views over Berat from the terraces and our room (#1) are stunning. Aleksander and his family are all friendly, helpful and provided excellent breakfasts during our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable.

🌟 Séjour exceptionnel à Berat – un véritable coup de cœur !
Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Vila Aleksander. L’hôtel est plein de charme, superbement situé au cœur du vieux quartier de Mangalem. La vue depuis la terrasse est tout simplement inoubliable, parfaite pour admirer la ville au coucher du soleil.

La chambre était confortable, calme, décorée avec goût et pleine d’authenticité. Mais ce qui rend l’expérience vraiment unique, c’est l’accueil : Aleksander est un hôte exceptionnel, attentionné et passionné par sa ville et sa maison. Il nous a organisé un souper privé, délicieux, sur la terrasse, avec des produits locaux et des plats faits maison. Un moment qu’on n’oubliera pas.

Un lieu à la fois paisible, authentique et chaleureux. On repart avec des souvenirs pleins la tête – et l’envie de revenir.
