Leider zu kalt im Winter
Pros:

Sehr schöne Lage, sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Sehr kulantes Management.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr kalt übergeben. Die Heizung konnte im Februar das Zimmer nicht schnell genug heizen. Im Badezimmer gav es sowieso keine Heizung. Das Restaurant war nicht aktiv außer für kalte Frühstucke.

Pros:

It is a traditional old house,located in a restored village with traditional decorated rooms. The breakfast is rich (for greek standards) prepared by the young girl who owns the hotel hershelf and served in the inner yard.The owners are really friendly and love talking as much as they can-so you can get to know their lives and their problems.It is a must for those who like 19th century feeling but can't travel to middle east-for example the Muezzin cries for prayer at night and early in the morning, there is no noise of tourists making parties and everything can be reached on foot.The car you leave on the street but it is quite safe.

Bin vom Personal beraubt worden
Cons:

Der Besitzer, Dionis Ndini, hat uns zuerst den falschen Betrag verrechnet. Anstatt den gebuchten Preis von 141,58 Euro hat er 14.158 ALL, also albanische Lek verrechnet. Da ich mir zuerst nicht sicher war ob der Preis stimmt, habe ich mit Karte gezahlt, die Unterkunft aber am nächsten Tag darauf hingewiesen. Er war selbst nicht anwesend, hat aber am Telefon behauptet, dass die Differenz die Gebühr an Booking ist, was natürlich Bullshit ist, denn die Gebühr ist in meinen Gesamtspesen bereits enthalten und kann nicht von ihm im Nachhinein dazugebucht werden. Das Geld wurde mir erstattet, allerdings haben wir für einen Teil des Geldes gebeten, unsere Wäsche zu waschen (Der Service wird offiziell angeboten bei Nachfrage). Das ist auch ohne weiteres akzeptiert worden und auch zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Nach Erhalt der Wäsche hat aber mein Hoodie-Pullover gefehlt. Ich habe das auch gleich angesprochen, er wurde aber nicht gefunden. Wir sind am nächsten Tag abgereist, ich habe aber meine Google Maps Timeline, sowie meine Fotos verwendet um sicher zu gehen, ob der Hoodie wirklich und ohne Zweifel in der Unterkunft verblieben ist. Damit habe ich die Unterkunft via Booking-Chat konfrontiert und nach einigem hin und her wurde er tatsächlich wieder gefunden, dafür habe ich einen Fotobeweis erhalten. Die Unterkunft hat sich auch die Mühe gemacht bei der Post zu erkundigen wie hoch der Preis für den Versand ist: Albanische Post: kA, aber auf eigene Gewähr und DHL: 45€. Auf meine Nachfrage ob sie jetzt wirklich annehmen, dass ich die gesamte Gebühr für den Versand selbst bezahle, habe ich keine Antwort mehr erhalten. Ich hätte mich vermutlich auf die Hälfte einigen können, obwohl ich überhaupt keinen Anteil an dem Verlust trage. Außerdem war das Bad nach 3min. Duschen überschwemmt, wobei das ein generelles Problem in Albanien sein mag.

Wonderful place to stay in the old town of Berat
Pros:

This is a family-run hotel managed by a hardworking young couple. Communication was very fast and responsive. Parking was challenging, but clear instructions were provided before and upon arrival, and the husband even ran down the hill to help us park in a free spot. Breakfast was very good. The room was basic but clean, with a beautiful view of the Berat old town.

The location was great and the rooms were spacious and clean.

Cons:

The heater in our room was not working and we waited for 1.5 hour at night after check-in for the host to "fix the problem". we kept requesting to be shifted to another room but the hosts did not accept that. Instead we were forced to stay in the same room and the heater stopped working after midnight again. It was 2 C outside and we slept in a very cold room. there were also no glasses in the room so we could drink water, we had to request them seperately.

Pros:

Location is great! Super love the breakfast. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous! Twin room is comfortable and clean.

Cons:

I had arrived a night earlier and the twin room I'd booked was not available. Stayed in a bigger room and the showerhead in that room is not working well and no door to the shower stall. Glad my twin room the next few days is so much better. Guess it's quiet season so always no one around, make sure you have their number.

Sehr gute Unterkunft und nette Besitzer
Pros:

Es war alles hervorragend. Sehr sauber, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Bett, Kopfkissen und WLAN waren sehr gut.
Sehr Zentral gelegen. Man fällt quasi in die Innenstadt .
Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut.
Parkplatz ist nicht direkt vor der Unterkunft, aber ich konnte 2 Minuten von der Unterkunft, kostenlos, Parken.
Es war Nachts sehr ruhig, trotz Moschee in der Nähe.
Ich war 2 Nächte in Berat und habe noch lange nicht alles gesehen. Es ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.
Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich, spricht Englisch und es war ein herzlicher Empfang.

Gerne wieder, aber im Frühling.
Pros:

Sehr schönes, historisches Viertel. Die Unterkunft hatte einen schönen Aussenbereich. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Aussicht war traumhaft. Alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Es war sehr kalt zu dieser Jahreszeit, es konnte für meinen Geschmack nicht ausreichend geheizt werden. Leider war nicht alles gut geputzt, es hat mich aber nicht gestört.
