Beautiful and clean, tastefully decorated. Modern ensuite (we were expecting to share a bathroom based on the property notes). Manager was lovely and helpful. Good heating in the room, close to the main streets.
The aircon wasn’t working I ask them to come and fix but no boy come tv remote wasn’t working
They don't do food
Very noisy, but i suppose was expcted from a pub on a Saturday night
The pub looks much better in photos than it actually is, the rooms are clean and comfortable but the pub itself is just a nasty TAB joint despite its historic facade.
See above
It was a great room, above a nice friendly pub
The room was good
When we arrived we were told we hadnt paid.. so we paid again..when they realised we had prepaid when organising refund they took more money out. Finally we got paid back the 2 times money that we had overpaid.
Ther was no room service for our long stay.
A note about a locsl laundromat led us to a nearby town and we found that the laundromat was closed and boarded up.
The space
the location
No wrack to put suitcases on in the very large bedroom and no wrack to put clothes on in the very large bathroom
Good-sized room and ensuite that was nicely presented. The kitchenette included a microwave and toaster. Centrally located in Longford. Off-street parking out the back. Windows could be opened to let in fresh air. It was quiet the nights we stayed (Sunday and Monday), and the beds were comfortable. Smart TV on the wall. The staff were helpful.
Our shower had a lot of mould in the corner of the base and in the grout. A towel rail would have been useful.
Location was good. Only toasties available during trading hours. Room was large and clean. Quite modern unsuite for older style pub.
Walk to many dining options. Go to Woolmers while at Longford, great history of convicts times.
Comfortable room in the heart of Longford. Both the room and the ensuite were a good size and clean. Small kitchenette with microwave and toaster available. Parking out the back.
The accommodation was close to eating areas and close to the shops. Staff were very obliging.
Walking up the stairs carrying 18kg suitcases.
This hotel serves the purpose of what it is nicely - close to the airport, ideal for one night. It is not the best place I have stayed at, but staff was super helpful when needed and well available!
Close to the airport.
The noise from the street carried upstairs. But this was only for a short time.
The hotel is on the main road and rooms are above the bar so there is background noise. I loved that the window opens slightly allowing fresh country air and sounds of the town living. Room is very comfortable. Venue has atmosphere. Chuch and cemetery across the road make for a lovely walk at dusk to absorb local history.
