Write a review for a hotel. Terrible experience. Loud music thumping through the floor until midnight. Guest smoking on the landing enters ours rooms all night. Loud talking by other guests could be heard till 3am. There is no staff there over night , so guest can do what ever they like! My friend suffered breathing difficulties from the smoke so we had to check out early. We asked for a refund for our second night , the staff said the manager would contact us. 10 days later… no contact. Booking.com is now helping us to get a refund… I’m not hopefull…. This is a dodgy hotel…. Stay away.
Clean and had everything you needed
We had three rooms one room number 2 the bed was on a tilt and the sink leaked
The room was a great size with small kitchenette to make breakfast and an enormous ensuite bathroom. Parking was easy out the back and the bar great. Check in and out was easy. Really excellent and will stay again.
All good
There's a nice new bed and lovely comfy pillows.
It was really great to have a fridge and jug and toaster. There's a small hobb too but no kitchenware to cook on. The rooms had been done up really nicely and it had a nice big bathroom.
It was really comfortable for our two night stay.
It's really nice having the restaurant and bar downstairs which had very good food and reasonably priced for the good quality of it.
It would have been handy to have 2 bowls for breakfast cereal, it had plates and mugs though.
It was quite light through the bathroom window despite having the block out blinds drawn down.
Very comfortable room despite this though
Easy check in.
Clean and tidy.
The $150 holding fee is a bit rich. Gets taken out of your bank while your standing there checking in but takes days to go back in.
They use to have complementary water and cookies that are now $6 each or something. Only a small thing but doesn’t go unnoticed.
Very clean
Had no dislikes
Great location right in the middle of of town
No chair in the room and no PowerPoint in the bathroom
Location. The rooms have been tastefully updated and everything and more was provided in the room.
Being a hotel and a Saturday night it was inevitable that there would be someone coming back to their room in the middle of the night making a lot of noise, but for that reason I wouldn’t stay again on a Saturday night.
Also, the World Cup soccer was on but to watch it we had to turn the bed around as it did not face the tv.
