A generally good stay, but a few maintenance and family-friendly details let it down.
Pros:

The apartment was reasonably well maintained and the furnishings were in good condition. It was a comfortable stay overall, and the location worked well for exploring the Hunter Valley.

Cons:

We did encounter a couple of cockroaches, which was unpleasant, and the fireplace wasn’t working. We reported it, but the response was limited and it wasn’t fixed during our stay. There were also a few small things missing, like a soap dish in the bathroom. For the price, daily housekeeping would also have been appreciated. The stairs to the upstairs apartment were quite steep and there was no gate or door, which made it tricky with our 15-month-old.
