Lekkere koffie en de vraag of we een spiegeleitje wilden top.

Het is handig als de douche vast aan de wand kan worden opgehangen.

Mooie locatie.

Cons:

Werden niet echt vriendelijk begroet bij aankomst omdat we te laat waren en de eigenaar te lang moest wachten achter ons. Had geen oor naar de uitleg die we gaven of naar onze excuses. Kamers zijn veroudert, vensters die je niet kan open doen omdat ze er helemaal zouden eruit vallen, stuk van bad en ga zo maar door. Beetje brik a brak allemaal. Kamers waren wel proper en bedden waren goed om in te slapen. Geen verse handoeken de volgende ochtend gekregen als de kamer werd netjes gemaakt. Onze spullen werden verlegd ook toen we terug kwamen. Ontbijt kon pas om 8:30 omdat er naar de bakker achter vers brood werd gegaan, wat niet het geval is. Ontbijt staat de avond ervoor al klaar op de tafels met het brood gewikkeld in plastic folie. Gelukkig konden we wel vroeger ontbijten opdat we op tijd op het circuit van Spa zouden zijn. Vergane glorie....

Lovely characterful hotel with great music, art, conversation and best breakfast!
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, so much character and in a perfect location by the river. Beautiful furniture, music, paintings by the owner, lovely conversation and one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had in a hotel. Thankyou

No reflection on the hotel, but although mid September the town seemed to closing down for the seaso
Pros:

Jaques was a fantastic host who made every effort to make sure our stay was comfortable. considering we were the only guests staying on the Monday and Tuesday, Jaques went out of his way to look after us following his recent eye surgery which left him uncertain as to whether he would feel recovered enough to provide his high standard of service. A great relaxed atmosphere in a fantastically located character building.

Great host, great location, great food, great fun.
Pros:

This hotel is truly exceptional. Not in a five-star Hilton way, but in being the creation of Jacques Koulic, and reflecting his passion for the very best food and the traditions of Belgian décor and hospitality. The breakfast was truly exceptional and M. Koulic could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The restaurant menu looked stunning.

The family room we booked had everything we needed and was very well laid out.

We will be back for a long weekend. La Roche-en-Ardennes is a truly stunning town.
