Ein in die Jahre gekommenes 4-Sterne-Hotel, das dem heutigen Standard leider nicht mehr gerecht wird.
Pros:

- Nachdem wir unsere Unzufriedenheit geäussert hatten, wurde uns ein grösseres Zimmer angeboten. Dieses war deutlich angenehmer, mit einer weicheren Matratze und einem renovierten Badezimmer.
- Das Hotel war sehr ruhig, sodass wir gut schlafen konnten.

Cons:

- Unser ursprünglich gebuchtes Zimmer (ca. 230 € pro Nacht) wirkte deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bett knarrte stark und der Fernseher war sehr klein. Insgesamt entspricht die Ausstattung für uns nicht mehr ganz dem heutigen Standard in dieser Preiskategorie – insbesondere für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel.
- Nach der ersten Nacht hätten wir unseren Aufenthalt gerne verkürzt, da das Hotel nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprach. Die Hotelleitung lehnte eine Anpassung jedoch „aus Prinzip“ ab – selbst nachdem der Support von Booking.com versucht hat zu vermitteln.
- Während unseres Aufenthalts wirkte das Hotel nahezu leer, dennoch lag der Preis der günstigsten Zimmerkategorie deutlich über dem auf der Website angegebenen indikativem Preis.
- Die Öffnungszeiten des Spa-Bereichs waren stark eingeschränkt (Samstag erst ab 16 Uhr, Sonntag komplett geschlossen). Auf der Website wird dies nicht klar erwähnt.
- Zudem wurde uns gesagt, wir könnten uns im Spa aufhalten, falls das Skigebiet für unsere Ansprüche zu anfängerorientiert oder das Dorf Ehrwald zu ruhig sein sollte – was aufgrund der Öffnungszeiten jedoch kaum möglich war.

Wir können uns den guten Bewertungen nicht anschließen. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, dass die veröffentlichten Fotos der Zimmer nicht im Entferntesten unserem entsprachen. Es war ein sehr kleines Doppelzimmer mit alten Möbeln, einem neuen aber nur 1,60m breiten Bett und sehr weichen Matratzen. Eine Duschtüre war nicht verankert und fiel mir beim Duschen entgegen. Ein Schockmoment! Wir haben für dieses Doppelzimmer € 209 für eine Nacht über booking.com bezahlt. Bucht man direkt bei dem Hotel spart man ca. 1/3. Was ist das für eine Preispolitik? Unsere Beschwerde vor Ort wurde mit einer achselzuckenden Arroganz entgegen genommen. Wir kommen nicht wieder

Top Lage für Wanderungen jedweder Art, Gourmet-Küche, sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, sehr sauber.
