parking was a bit inconvenient but not a deal breaker.
Room was great--attractive, clean, comfortable, large. Location is right in downtown, walking distance to restaurants, etc. Friendly and helpful staff.
Parking situation and communication regarding it. Conflicting instructions ahead of time--in one communication, it seemed that we should stop at the front of the hotel to drop off our bags and get a parking pass before parking, in another it seemed to indicate we should park first. First, we tried to get to the front of the building, but the street is blocked off (it is a pedestrian area in the summer). Then, we parked in the designated lot/area, only to find the door to enter the building locked. Luckily, a parking attendant happened to be walking by and let me into the building. One of us waited in the car (so we wouldn't be ticketed/towed) while the other went to check in and get the parking pass and key fob to the locked building where the parking is. Not sure what I would have done if I'd been by myself. Same problem on check-out: we had to return the parking building key fob before we had our car. Learning from our earlier experience, we figured this would be the case, so before returning the fob, we positioned one person inside the locked building to open the door after the other person had checked out. Definitely not a situation you want to be dealing with as weary travelers!

Loved my room and bathroom.
Noise level isn't great. Elevator is peculiar. From the outside, it looks a bit sketchy, but my room was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious but pricey.
The property is located on Water Street in the center of the historic district. It has been lovingly restored and maintained. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, and the in-house bar and restaurant are five-star establishments.
If I had a rental car, I would not know where to park it. Blue is a small boutique hotel.
I booked this room for my daughter and she was so happy with it and was very clean and the staff were so friendly.

Le bruit provenant des différents établissements situés près. Impossible de dormir jusqu’à 3h du matin, même les fenêtres fermées… Très dommage pcq sinon tout était parfait.
Es ist ein etwas spezielles Haus, wie das schon mal bei Boutique Hotels vorkommt. Man muss auch Einschränkungen lieben. Die Mahlzeiten sind hervorragend und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Parken überhaupt kein Problem.
Die erwähnten Einschränkungen bestehen in einem Lift ( kein Aufzug), in unerwarteten Stufen im Zimmer, in einem düsteren Ambiente (mag man vielleicht auch als gemütlich empfinden), in Gardinen, die nicht alle Fenster verdunkeln, in einem Bad, bei dem man nicht einschätzen kann, ob der Boden sauber ist und einem niedrigen Bett, dessen Matratze vielleicht doch nicht so ganz top ist.
The room was wonderfully decorated, and extremely clean. We needed to ask for cream, but it was willingly given to us. Staff spoke to us each time we entered it exited.
We did not appreciated ate needing to walk through the bar to get to and from our room.
Location , food and pub. Excellent service and hospitality!! The hotel is right in the middle of Water Street so it is walking distance to everything.

We didn't like the location of our first room as it was facing into the street and very noisy although we lived the layout and decor of the room

Bathroom had an odd layout that don’t give you much room by the toilet.

Engaging decor; so much more interesting than their corporate competitors. Restaurant downstairs was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Excellent location; we walked to the Signal Hill trail and followed it up to the lookout which made for a lovely Sunday morning walk.
