Perfect overnight spot before getting a morning ferry back to Vancouver. Sidney is super cute.
Pros:

Sidney was a surprising little gem as the stop overnight before our ferry back to Vancouver. The hotel was cute and in the perfect spot, overlooking the sea and pier.

Cons:

No kettle allowed in our part of the hotel due to fire risk … but you can try to boil water in the microwave? Surely a microwave is more of a fire hazard than a kettle?

Pros:

- Great location, minimal walking for supplies, dinner, local township and waterfront.
- Late check in available.
- Pretty generous breakfast.

Cons:

- Air-conditioning is quite loud and dated, with limited ability to open door for a breeze whilst keeping the unit secure, expected given the country is famous for being cold, brutal when trying to sleep on the long summer nights.
