One of the best hotel I was in China. Clean, spacious with a nice bathroom. Avatar mountain veiw from the room ,which is super. Quite well located because you're near the south entrance of the national park ( walkable). The staff is nice with a smile.the hotel is very big with a pool table and a table tennis table. The hotel itself is like a ring that surrounds an inner garden.
Pipaxi hotel is one the best in the area near south gate of zhanggjiajie National Park. Ideally located within 10 min walk to restaurants and the park gate. Very friendly receptionists and exceptional service. Very flavorful breakfast with a lot of options. Particular mention to Mis Liu which really assisted us throughout the stay in the hotel. Highly recommend New Pipaxi Hotel.
This hotel is a great choice for a mountain getaway in Zhangjiajie, located just a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the national park, which is especially convenient with the 4-day entry pass included. . The hotel team ,lily helped us get tickets to all the parks and was always available on WhatsApp. SHe speaks English fluently, which is rare in China. Thanks to lily's work, our holiday was organized at the highest level.
very good hotel around 15 minutes walk to the south gate entrance of the national park. The hotel was beautiful and clean ,nice courtyard inside hotel. helpful and friendly staffs, who booked our tickets to the national forest park and Grand Canyon and provided detailed instructions what we could do and see each day.
The location was amazing. very close to park entrance. Ver Nice and large courtyard inside hotel, The welcome, the service, the attention to detail. The property was amazing in helping with our iterinary and booking the activities. LILY, who speaks fluent English and was incredibly helpful.S He assisted us with booking park tickets and gave clear guidance on how to navigate the routes inside the park.Always ready and quick to answer all questions on whatsapp. The breakfast was elaborate and good. The bed was really comfortable!
Üblicherweise wird nur chinesisch gesprochen. Wir haben aber von einem Mitarbeiter in englische Sprache alles wichtige regeln können. Er hat auch sehr zuvorkommend die Tickets für den Nationalpark organisiert. Das war super. Das Hotel ist nur ein Kilometer vom Parkeingang entfernt.
Das Hotel ist vom Gelände etwas weitläufig und hat etwas den Charme einer Unterkunft für Parteifunktionäre.

Bilderna från annonsen stämde inte en sekund med vad som var utlovat. Ingen undring från hotell rummet inget stämde och frukosten var under all kritik, rekommenderar inte detta.

I really liked this hotel. It's comfortable, clean, quiet, and peaceful. Excellent staff, very pleasant and smiling, always ready to help. It is very beautiful on the territory of the hotel, lots of greenery and flowering trees. I recommend.
15 minutes walk to park entrance, shops and small restaurants near by. Helpful with reserving tickets .

The staff knew very little English.
Just the fact that I had a room to sleep.
The first room they gave me had no lights or electricity, so the A.C. couldn’t work. They moved me to a different room, but the issues didn’t stop there. As a foreigner, they overcharged me for an excursion that should have cost 200 of their currency, making me pay 300 instead. They promised to help but never did, ultimately cheating me out of the excursion. The manager told me I had to arrange my own transportation, which cost me over $200. I have the receipt to prove it. Meanwhile, I saw buses picking up other guests for their excursions, but I was excluded.When I confronted them, they brushed me off. They even threatened to keep me in the country without involving the authorities over just 300 of their currency. Their communication was poor throughout my stay, and the entire staff ganged up on me, making me feel worse than I ever have in my life. At one point, they locked my room, preventing me from accessing my belongings until I repaid them with my card. They also made me book a second reservation but still haven’t refunded my down payment for either booking. On top of that, they forced me to open an unfamiliar account.During my excursion, I was lucky to make friends who spoke their language and helped translate for me. That’s how I learned exactly what they were saying about me. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay at this hotel. In other hotels, when they provide excursions, they also include transportation. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience here.
The location is top notch! Basically 10 minutes to the mountain gate on food! And you can see mountains from the inner courtyard too, which in itself is lovely. Breakfast is pretty varied, we loved it. The room is comfortable and clean.
