Great location
Pros:

Perfect location, only minutes away from the pier and train station. Staff was very friendly and the food in the restaurant was nice.

Cons:

Our room (#7) was a bit small and cramped furnished.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer könnte eine etwas hellere Lampe haben und ein kleiner Schrank oder Kommode wäre schöner,als die Garderobe.

On nous a encaissé la chambre la plus chère pour au final ne pas nous avertir qu’il y’avait des travaux et aucune vue ni de terrasse disponible !
Nous avons choisi cette chambre la chambre numéro 6 qui est la meilleur de l’hôtel face au lac avec les vitres face au montagne 🏔️ je suis enceinte et voulais vrmt profiter rien que du balcon et la vue dans l’hôtel mais vous n’avez ps été honnête nous avons fait 7heures de routes pour avoirs les échafaudage et un filet rouge qui nous a tout gâché horrible et pleins de matériels dans le balcon de chantier inadmissible. aucune chaise aucune table comme sur les photos donc l’appel ça de la publicité mensongère. Je ne reviendrais plus et je recommande pas j’ai quand même payé 255 euros pour au final me
Retrouver dehors au lac et profite de mon séjour dehors alors que je voulais juste me reposer avec le paysage .

Alles in allem waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden mit den erwähnten Einschränkungen.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar vom Bahnhof. Das Zimmer wurde offenbar vor kurzem renoviert. Die Betten sind bequem. Das Leselicht super. Es hat einen kleinen Balkon mit Seitensicht zum See und zwei Fenster zur Hauptstrasse. Diese ist nicht sehr befahren und verursacht keim Lärm. Das Restaurant und die Terrasse haben einen unverbauten Seeblick.

Cons:

Die Ablageflächen im Zimmer sind sehr sparsam. Wer mehrere Tage bleiben und seine Kleider auspacken will, wird Mühe haben. Die Kleiderbügel sollten ergänzt werden mit Modellen für Hosen. Komfortabel wäre eine Lademöglichkeit für das Händy beim Bett. Das Frühstück ist im Preis nicht inbegriffen. Es kann erst am 8.30 bestellt werden. Das ist zu spät für Gäste wie wir, die einen längeren Tagesausflug planen. Die Menükarte ist bescheiden. Bis 20 Uhr werden Bestellungen aufgenommen. Um 21 Uhr schliesst das Restaurant.
Den Übernachtungspreis finden wir im Vergleich mit andern Hotels eher hoch.

Cozy, relaxing, and beautiful.
Pros:

One of the biggest reasons we chose this hotel was the fact it was next to Lake Brienz with such stunning views from our balcony. The room was simply designed and minimalistic which is our style, but very clean, and another big feat is their cafe. The number of cakes my friends ate as early as breakfast time (which is unheard of judging by the staff's expressions) the food was great as well. Overall, it was a great experience.

Cons:

Due to the wonderful location, we were willing to sacrifice by dealing with no elevators and lugging our suitcases up a small hill to stay here. Hotel Walz staff, however, were so accommodating in bringing each of our suitcases up two flights of stairs. And we had around 7-8 luggages. So grateful for that.

All guests who wish to make a reservation for this hotel should be aware of the following: If you are unable to arrive and check in on time due to force majeure factors, the hotel will not refund any money at all. Even if you send a message to the hotel in advance to negotiate, the hotel will reply to you very late or not at all! We completed the check-in process without actually staying there, but we have to bear all the losses! This is absolutely unreasonable.
