Albergo Antica Posta is located in the pedestrian area of Ascona. When arriving by car and you reach Ascona, drive all straight until the post office. There, you will find two plugs designating the pedestrian area. Press on the white button and announce yourself as a hotel guest. The police will let you drive through.The hotel is located about 656 feet from there, on the left hand side, just after the boutique of Farfalla. It is a green house with two olive trees.

Please note that the city tax includes the Ticino Ticket. It offers free benefits and discounts in the Canton of Ticino, including free use of train and bus services. Sehr ruhiges gemütliches Hotel.
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal.
Extrem ruhig mit schönem Innenhof. Gute Lage in der Altstadt.
Ausgiebiges Frühstück.
Klimaanlage im Zimmer wunderbar. Restaurant für Abendessen war leider ausgebucht, sonst hätten wir sicher da gegessen.
Zimmer schön gestaltet.

Wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das Hotel liegt super Zentral und ist trotzdem ruhig.
Unser Appartment war sehr geräumig und bietet Platz für min. 4 Personen. Mit dem Bettsofa, welches wir nicht benutzt haben, dürften es sogar noch mehr sein. Allerdings muss man sich das eine Badezimmer dann geschickt aufteilen.
Die gut eingerichtete Küche würde sogar erlauben selber zu kochen. Aber darauf haben wir verzichtet, denn das Angebot an Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten rund um das Hotel ist riesig.
Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel!

Cons:

Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto direkt zum Hotel, welches in der Fussgängerzone liegt, wollten wir uns nicht antun. Ich denke aber, dass dies möglich gewesen wäre. Auch wenn wir es nicht benötigen und aufgrund des Charmes des Hotels auch nicht passen würde, aber es hatte keinen Aufzug (sollte jemand darauf angewiesen sein).

Direkt in der Altstadt von Ascona gelegen, weniger als 5 Minuten von der Seepromenade entfernen, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Altes Postgebäude umgebaut, Charakter des vorigen Jahrhunderts in die Moderne transformiert.
Sehr schön - wir kommen wieder!!!

wir kommen gerne wieder

die lage ist hervorragend. die zimmer sind klimatisiert ind mit allem ausgestattet. das personal ist siperfreundlich und das frühstück war auch mega lecker. wir haben ins rundum wohl gefühlt. leider konnten wir nur eine nacht bleiben, ein weiterer längerer aufenthalt ist in planung. das hotel ist wirklich ein juwel.
