Pros:

We had a truly wonderful time at Hotel Sterne. The cozy atmosphere and the warm, welcoming reception alone make you want to return. We enjoyed a breathtaking view across the entire valley, the lake, and the mountain range as we sat on the balcony with a coffee in the first spring sunshine. It was well worth spending the night here in the tranquility of the Swiss mountains.

Vue exceptionnelle sur Interlaken
Pros:

La vue est exceptionnelle sur Interlaken et le lac Thoune et les environs.

La route pour s'y rendre est sinueuse (en lacets) - environ 20 minutes à partir d'Interlaken pour se rendre à l'hôtel.

L'endroit est assez vieux, mais ça lui donne un certain charme. La cuisinette était tout de même bien équipée.

Vlad est très gentil et prend le temps d'expliquer les attraits touristiques de la région.

Cons:

Les portes de la douche que nous avions auraient eu besoin d'un nettoyage en profondeur, sinon, tout était correct 😉

Pros:

The hotel is half way up a mountain and overlooking lake thun. The owner was super helpful and gave us recommendations of places to visit, would love to come back and explore the local town a bit more. Towels and sheets are very clean, kitchen is very clean too, perfect for preparing breakfast and having a quick meal.

Cons:

The hotel is near a church, church bell strikes every hour even at 2/3 am. I had light sleep on the first night but wasn't bothered by it on the rest of the days.

Absolutely gem of a place to stay in a good / reasonable price range.

Owners are great people and very helpful indeed. Best communication from a hotel management and both husband and wife has been in touch via Booking.com (as well as making it easy for us, via WhatsApp as well).

Location and views are just amazing from the property. Vlad (husband) has helped us with guiding the best possible use of our days and structuring the day visits / tours around the Interlaken area.

Accommodation had all you need for a short stay as a family. Room and amenities were clean. This is certainly a hotel for us to revisit, whenever we are ever again in the area.

Totally recommended.

Ausgesprochen engagiert und freundlich geführtes Hotel
Pros:

Das Hotel ist trotz seiner Lage an der Hauptstrasse und der Kirche ruhig und verfügt über einen einzigartigen und atemberaubenden Blick über den Thunersee und Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !

Cons:

Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist sind die Parkmöglichkeiten evtl etwas schwierig.
