Please note:
- In winter, Berghaus Bort is only reachable by cable car. The last cable car leaves at 15:45. Public parking is available in the valley, and charges may apply.
- In summer, Berghaus Bort can be accessed by car, preferably with a four-wheel drive, via a narrow mountain road. Free private parking is available on site.
- Pets are allowed only in the rooms.
- WiFi is available free of charge for one device per room.

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich.
This place has been the highlight of our eurotrip. A hidden gem in the Alps. Conveniently located at the second cable car station. The hotel by itself was like a classic cabin on the outside and fully renovated on the inside. Rooms were impeccable and staff was really friendly.
The view is absolutely stunning! I loved room 111! It’s breathtaking!

Eiger View Room has true Eiger views! Outside there is stunning scenery in every direction, never a dull moment up there. Very comfy beds, modern and thoughtful interior, clean, super friendly attentive staff.
Handily located next to First Gondola mid-station, but we came up by car, wow what a drive!
Thoroughly enjoyed dining at the restaurant, breakfast was nice too.
Great location for sunrise & sunset!
Steak too juicy, lobster too succulent!
No negatives really but watch out for Trottibikes if driving up.

Si llegas despues de las 16,00 h pierdes el telecabina y tienes que subir en coche. Toda una experienciapues apenas cabe un vehiculo.
Rooms and location
They sent us wrong information regarding how to get there. The email clearly stated that we can’t drive to the location by car and that we should use the cable car. The cable car company indicated that the last trip was at 15:00.
When we arrived there, we found out that the last cable car trip was at 16:00, so we could have spent more time in the valley. And we could have driven there by car in the first place.
La ubicación del Hotel es una maravilla. Asomarse a la ventana y ver la majestuosa silueta del Eiger es impresionante. La paz y la tranquilidad que se percibe allí. El personal es muy simpático y agradable.
La información que en invierno solamente se puede subir en el telesferico y que el último es a las 16:15. Esta información llegó tarde.
La struttura è situata nel cuore delle montagne di grindelwald. La strada per arrivarci in auto non è delle migliori sopratutto per il clima non ideala incontrato. Purtroppo siamo stati immersi nella nebbia e non abbiamo goduto del panorama che penso sia il vero upgrade della struttura. Consiglio di andare in estate
