Travelled from Australia, chose Alphorn off the internet and absolutely enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Excellent in every way
Pros:

It's an easy walk from Interlaken West train station. It's a small, no-frills hotel at a reasonable price, or so we thought. The rooms were adequate in size, the beds comfortable, the breakfast was generous and good, and the whole place was exceptionally clean. Best of all were the staff, who were genuinely welcoming and pleasant, and who went out of their way to accommodate our special requests.

We loved staying in this very clean spot with a helpful and friendly owner and staff.
Pros:

The Alphorn Hotel and B&B is a wonderful place to stay. Christine and Sasa are kind and friendly and very accommodating. It was so good to meet them. The property is extremely well kept and clean, and there are clever, Swiss engineered features in the rooms. The breakfast was prepared with care including a fresh fruit salad each morning. A huge plus is that it is a very short walk to the train/bus station. We highly recommend the Alphorn Hotel.

Pros:

Excellent staff who were very welcoming. A very good continental breakfast.
Location was in a quiet part of the town with restaurants nearby. It was a short walk to the station so very convenient.

Cons:

The bathroom was very small but adequate for a short stay.

The hotel was very welcoming- from the first (and ongoing contacts) with Christina and the staff and general home like feeling. The owner recognisesd we were from Australia and provided us with Vegemite for our breakfast! The hotel was excellently located near the station, buses and shopping centre / restaurants.
The staff were extremely helpful in suggesting activities and were genuinely interested about our experience. Loved this hotel.

Cons:

The bathroom is a little small but this is typical of the region and did not impact our experience.

Top hotel
Pros:

Iedereen is zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Niets is teveel. Christine hielp ons met het regelen en advies geven over de mogelijkheden om naar de Jungfrau joch naar boven te gaan. Dit pakte perfect uit en het was prachtig helder boven.
Fijn warm gevoel.

Cons:

We miste een beetje een airco en vonden de bedden erg laag en hard. Nu zijn wij ook vrij lang en ik besef dat dit heel persoonlijk is.

Rozhodne se vrátíme, když pojedeme tímto směrem.

Milá majitelka, vše perfektně uklizené, denní výměna ručníku, snídaně možná před 7 hodinou, psy zdarma

Cons:

Teplo na pokoji, ale venku bylo hic a na pokoji byl větrák.
