Pros:

i like too much this hotel, all the staff be very kind with me, the food be great and clean installation

Cons:

maybe have a better english atenttion, but this is not a problem all the guys in frontdesk make all possible for make a good translation between us on our mobile phones

Pros:

The hotel is beautiful but the service is really poor. We book a room at 10 floor, receptions staffs informed at check-in us our room was included BF and told us the breakfast time and venue. However when we woke up and came to restaurant, restaurant hostess (cashier) informed us that our room was not included breakfast, they asked us came to receptionist to double check. Staffs told us our room was not included BF and that's all. They insisted that were our mistake. Staffs and event the "manager" looked at us like we stay at the hotel just for BF, they did not help us when we tried to find a place for BF.
Staffs speak very poor English!!

Fabulous place to stay - Shangyuan Hotel, Changping, Dongguan, China.
Pros:

The Shangyuan Hotel in Changping, Dongguan, China is a very nice hotel. Fabulous place to stay too.
The rooms are kept clean to a very high standard. The housekeeping / chambermaids / cleaners enter your room daily and usually when you venture out no matter what time of the morning / afternoon you decide to get up. I wasn't bothered by knocks at my door in the early hours of the morning like i have been at other hotels.
The staff at reception though aren't anything to shout about, except for the very helpful lady reception supervisor. I had tried to ask the reception staff a few questions and ended up being laughed at from the other side of the telephone, i don't think they knew i could hear them but it was a bit disturbing, although it didn't bother me too much as i'm Scottish and most people / countries i've been to have problems with my accent, but it may bother other visitors to the hotel. I still wouldn't let my little experience put yourselves of from booking in to the hotel, i'd certainly go back and stay at the hotel if i was ever in Changping again.

Pros:

Attended Guangzhou Canton fair 2010 and factory visit in Dongguan. Prefered hotel sold out, this hotel is our second choice.
Hotel are generally clean, crews does not speak a lot of english. but courteous and polite.Rooms carpet need upgrade, beds are hard far from your posturpedic bed at home. Inadeguate sound insulation from traffic (horn)
Breakfast on the house, but all chinese menu.
walking distance, to mall, shopping and good foods, less than 10 mins taxi ride to Changping, Dongguan railway station.

overall, acceptable budget hotel. not dissapointed.
