Merveilleux et relaxant Un vrai moment de bonheur

Beautiful mélange of old and new and nature; friendly staff; we would love to come back
Pros:

Don't be fooled by the industrial surroundings; the hotel is located in a beautiful, picturesque green oasis next to an almost primeval ravine (river Seyon) and dates back to the 16th century when it was part of an essemble of mill and adjacent crafts; at the same time, you have a few busses nearby (120, 122, 101) that will take you to the city centre or the main station further east in a couple of minutes; the building itself was modernized with class and comfort, which is also visible in its rooms and hallways as well as the breakfast area (a perfect blend of old and new); just be aware: you won't really hear the neighbourhood nor really the railway nearby but you have to be fine with the loud water (we loved it); Mr D'Souza and staff were super friendly and helpful; the restaurant should be very good (unfortunately we haven't got a chance to try it); also, for Switzerland the prices were fair; a very special place that will leave a mark, not just like any other hotel; we can only recommend it very highly indeed!

Insolite de par sa situation, la bâtisse est belle et les chambres très confortables et propres.
Pros:

Sa situation insolite au bord d’un ruisseau mais tout en étant au centre de Neuchâtel.

Cons:

Avec les fenêtres ouvertes, le bruit du ruisseau est très présent; de plus le train à proximité s’entend, alors qu’il passe très souvent, sauf la nuit heureusement.

Wir waren über dieses Haus sehr possitiv überrascht.
Pros:

Eine Idylle in der Stadt, eine richtige Oase. Viel Grün, Bach mit Wassermühlen und Wasserrädern. Ich habe einen 1Std. Spaziergang zweg’s Entdecken und fotografieren ums Haus unternommen, war toll !
Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr schön und Frühstück reichhaltig. Hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben, aber alles sehr gepflegt und sauber.
Zum an den See hinunter zu laufen benötigt man etwa 20Min. Völlig machbar.
Ich würde sofort wieder buchen. Auch das dazugehörige Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Wir wollten nach Ankunft gleich eine Nacht verlängern, war aber wegen Full- House nicht möglich. Übernächste Nacht kamen wir wieder zurück, buchten nochmals über Booking.com. Ich bin der Meinung, dass uns die Rezeptionistin hätte mitteilen können, dass sie übernächste Nacht wieder Zimmer frei hätten…

Charmant - gerne einmal wieder
Pros:

Ein sehr charmantes und interessant restauriertes Hotel.
Altes mit Neuem mit gutem Geschmack verbunden. An einem Bach der die Geschichte der Wasserräder und Mühlen erzählt. Gute Verbindungen in den Kern von Neuenburg. Öffentlicher Verkehr oder zu Fuss. Schmackhaftes Frühstück in angenehmen Ambiente.

Cons:

Das Abendessen Angebot tönt interessant, aber auch teuer und wir hätten gerne etwas einfaches und preiswerteres gewählt.
Die Nähe zum Bach ist schön, dieser ist aber auch hörbar. Für die einen ein Natur Geräusch für andere nicht so einfach zu schlafen..

mooi, oud hotel op een wat moeilijke locatie
Pros:

mooi gerestaureerd oud pand met mooie, ruime kamer. Goed ontbijt met heel vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

De locatie is door de tijd ingehaald en eigenlijk alleen met de auto te bereiken. De inrichting van de kamer mag wel worden geupdate. Het restaurant is veel te duur voor wat er geboden wordt.

We would love to stay here again!
Pros:

The building from early 1600’s, the charming room, the waterfall and the trees on the back of the house. The staff and management were kind and helpful. Very good breakfast. Very clean and comfortable! Close to buses that run frequently to the town centre. We would love to come back!
