A wonderful hotel in a unique setting.
Pros:

The location was fantastic, next to a small river and water mills. It wasn't far to walk to the city centre and we had a free bus pass.The hotel had a lot of character. The staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. The breakfast was great.

A perfect example of excellent Swiss hospitality!
Pros:

A unique property which is a beautifully restored historic and grand family home, in a wooded area on the outskirts of Neuchâtel. It is set below the road and surrounding buildings in a woodland site with a stream and waterfall that makes you feel like you’re miles from anywhere! The bedroom accommodation is comfortable and very well presented, as are the communal spaces. The team at Hôtel La Maison du Prussien are very attentive and friendly. They are also kind and nothing is too much trouble for them. In particular the lady who serves a lovely breakfast, the young man who seems to do so many different jobs but always with a smile, and the Manager who is so attentive and always the perfect host.
Thank you for a lovely 2 nights. I will return.

Romantisches, sauberes Hotel an einem kleinen Bächlein. Nachts sehr ruhig
Pros:

Kleines, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes und romantisches Hotel mit einem eigenen Gourmetrestaurant. Personal war sehr freundlich, das Frühstücksbuffet war auch sehr fein. Sehr bequeme Betten. Ein kleines Bächli fliesst neben dem Hotel vobei. Traumhafte Terrasse im Sommer.

Sehr idyllisch, wunderbar dekoriert und ausgestattet. Toll renoviertes Badezimmer. Freundlicher Empfang, sehr hundefreundlich.

Cons:

Unbequemes Bett. Dürfte erneuert werden. Auswahl beim Frühstück etwas rudimentär.

magnifique surprise, nous a permis de nous coupé du stress de tous les jours
Pros:

les chambres étaient magnifique, propre. Le bruit de la rivière en contre-bas était audible mais supportable. l'accueil était très agéable et arrangeant.

Cons:

Le déjeuner était un peu maigre en choix. Nous n'avons pas croisé grand monde dans l'hôtel. la situation géographique de l'hôtel est surprenante, ancien batiment au milieu d'une zone industriel, cependant le cadre est tout de même magnifique avec la végétation.
