Pros:

De schitterende locatie aan het meer met het uitzicht en het lekkere ontbijt met voldoende variatie. De bedden waren ook comfortabel.

Cons:

Nachtelijk lawaai. Niet heel veel maar toch wat geluid vanuit de afzuiging van de andere kamers. De prijs is vrij hoog.

We would definitely return.
Pros:

The hotel is right on the water next to the ferry terminal with beautiful views in all directions. There are many breakfast items to choose from, including scrambled eggs and bacon every morning, two types of yogurt, fresh baked goods, cheeses, fresh fruit and delicious coffee and hot chocolate.

Cons:

It is a 1 km walk downhill to get from the bus and train station to the property. There is a bus service that goes once an hour.

Mój pobyt był bardzo udany zrealizowałem wszystkie plany

Najważniejszą zaletą hotelu jest położenie. Jeżeli połączymy to z jakością obsługi i czystością pokoi to jasną staje się tak wysoka ocena jak przyznałem hotelowi. Począwszy od pani w recepcji a skończywszy na kelnerach w restauracji wszyscy byli mili wykazywali chęć pomocy. Zdecydowanie polecam spędzeni kilku dni w tym hotelu i podziwianie wspaniałych widoków otaczającego hotel krajobrazu.

Extraordinary views right in front of you.
Pros:

Location is perfect. Views are extraordinary. Beach is right on spot, ferry Stop too. Breakfast is nice too. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel too.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was perfect. Spiez is a very small city though and feels little bit scary at night.

The location was great- right on the water and on a bus line.

Cons:

As other reviewers warned, smoking started soon after the desk was no longer staffed at night. I could smell it in my room and it was unpleasant. The bed wasn't comfortable and the pillows were very flat. The room didn't cool down enough and the a/c emitted a periodic gurgling sound that made it difficult to sleep. I could smell sewage around the toilet no matter how much I flushed.

Unschlagbare Lage aber der Rest lässt zu wünschen übrig

Die Lage ist unschlagbar und der Seeblick vom Zimmer war wirklich schön. Für die Schweiz war der Preis annehmbar. Das Frühstück war nicht herausragend, aber gut. Das Personal war freundlich.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen, selbst im Treppenhaus senkt sich der Fußboden. Auf dem Balkon war der Boden auch kaputt, die Holzbalken haben sich an mehreren Stellen gelöst. Außerdem gab es auf meinem Balkon nur zwei unbequeme Holzstühle voller Spinnenweben. Die Sauberkeit im Bad ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Alles in allem in Ordnung für eine Nacht, aber es muss dringend renoviert werden.
