We had a wonderful stay at seeHotel bonigen. The highlight of the hotel is definitely its location—it’s right in front of the beautiful Lake Brienz, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax away from the crowds.

The hotel itself is comfortable, and public transport is very convenient. The bus stop is just around the corner, with frequent buses (bus 103)that take only about 7 minutes to reach Interlaken Ost station.

Overall, the stunning lake views, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent location made our stay truly memorable. We would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing stay close to Interlaken.

Cons:

The breakfast was good for non-vegetarians, but as vegetarians, we found the options a bit limited. There were basics like fruits, bread, butter, juice and similar items, but we would have appreciated a few more vegetarian choices.

A nice family run vintage hotel with killer views !!
Pros:

Wonderful spot in the lake -easy parking -nice porch off of our room -they gave us a fan to deal with the heat !

Cons:

The dining staff was quite irritated when we asked for a glass of water 2 min after breakfast ended -and there were unspoken rules about where to eat-we were chastised for sitting in the wrong seats on the patio 😜-that may seem trivial, but it made us feel unwelcome.

Niestety dostaliśmy 2 pokoje w starej części. Jeden pokój mały małe łóżko drugi w miarę ok.lazienki takie jak w szafie.slyszalnosc ludzi z pokoju obok tak bardzo jakby byli w moim pokoju.a jak zamykali drzwi np.do łazienki trzęsły się ściany. Czuliśmy się jak na campingu. I tyle.

Beautiful lake view and wonderful service
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. There are also many activities around the area, so it is a great place to relax but still have things to do nearby. We did Kayak guided tour and paragliding.

The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. During the heatwave, one of the best parts was that we could simply cross the road and go for a refreshing swim in the lake. It made the stay even more enjoyable.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would happily recommend this hotel.

Cons:

The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast selection, as the variety was quite limited. However, the breakfast service itself was perfect.

My experience at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing from the beginning. My flight was scheduled to arrive at night, and when I reached the hotel, there was no one at reception to welcome or assist me. I had to find a way to contact the hotel myself, which was stressful, especially as I did not have a local phone number.

That night, I asked for a fan because the room was very hot. The fan was only brought to me the following afternoon. When I spoke with the male receptionist the next morning, I found his attitude rude, dismissive, and condescending. I did not feel welcomed or respected as a guest.

I also had an unpleasant interaction with one of the staff members at breakfast, whose attitude was not friendly or professional.

The only genuinely kind and helpful staff member I met was a female receptionist on my last day before checking out. She treated me warmly and respectfully, and I truly appreciated her kindness.

Overall, the lack of reception support at night, the delay in providing the fan, and the attitude of some staff members made my stay much less comfortable than it should have been.

What a beautiful location surrounded by the alps.
Pros:

What a location, over looking the lake. We could have stayed for another week so we could spend more time touring around…next time. Sandra and the staff were terrific.
