Beautiful, Quiet, With a Few Upgrades Needed
Pros:

The view is the best part of the hotel. The lake and scenery, though from the side, was breathtaking. It seems a very safe neighborhood. I loved staying in a room with a balcony.
I really appreciated the comfort of one of the twin beds in my room (firm), the comfort of the pillows, and softness of the sheets. The room was so quiet at night with a bit of noise in the morning, but not too much. The bathroom had a shower in a bathtub, was small but clean, and my room was cleaned every day. There was a lot of great storage, too.
Because of a flight delay, I arrived later than the normal check-in time, and I really appreciated the ability to still check in and get into my room after a very long day of travel.
The hotel is located about a 15 min walk from the older, quaint part of Zug, uphill. It's best to have a car, but I did not. I didn't mind the walking, plus there is a bus stop right across the street (note: you pay by way of an app on your phone you'll need to download).

Cons:

The staff was not very welcoming or warm. I was there to visit my niece who lived nearby in Baar, so I was grateful I wasn't completely alone.
The room could use a fan, a refrigerator, and a way to make coffee or tea. I needed to leave the windows and door open all night to keep my room cool (I was there at the beginning of June).
It would be great to have USB outlets near the bed, too.

Hotel mit toller Aussicht
Pros:

Das Hotel steht auf einer Anhöhe mit superschöner Aussicht auf den Zugersee und Zug. Das Zimmer hat einen Balkon und ist blitzsauber und mit dem wichtigsten Sachen ausgerüstet. Das Frühstück ist sehr preisgünstig und lecker.

Cons:

Mein Zimmer war auf die Gartenseite hinaus und es hatte Lärm von den Restaurantgästen.

Très mauvaise restauration, aucune amabilité aucun sourire je déconseille vivement cet hôtel.
Pros:

Modeste petit déjeuner : croissant, pain, bircher muesli, 1ou 2 sortes de pain, confitures industrielles, fromage blanc quelconque thé vert inconnu.....vraiment très léger.

Cons:

Le repas du soir avec un personnel speedé, une cuisine quelconque un carpaccio de poulpe sans huile olive et surtout le test d'un vin ( une vieille bouteille ouverte ) imbuvable qui nous a été facturé 22 CHF alors que nous avions juste bu une gorgée !!!Evidemment nous avons contesté et on nous a rendu 3CHF!!! Les glaces infectes pour terminer.... très mauvais souvenir et le personnel ne parle que suisse allemand. Il est heureux que mon mari parle allemand mais différent du suisse allemand.

Pros:

Die Lage vom Hotel ist genial, nahe der Stadt Zug und doch ausserhalb.
Zu Fuss ist man schnell in der Stadt oder man nimmt den Bus, der vor der Türe hält.
