Ein Hotelerlebnis auf hoechstem Niveau! Bereits beim Check-in ueberzeugte die Rezeption mit ausserordentlicher Freundlichkeit, Professionalitaet und Herzlichkeit – ein perfekter Start in den Aufenthalt.
Das gesamte Haus praesentiert sich in makellosem Zustand; die Sauberkeit ist absolut vorbildlich und laesst keine Wuensche offen. Besonders beeindruckend ist die wunderschoene Einrichtung: mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und durch zahlreiche historische Gegenstaende ergaenzt, die dem Hotel einen ganz besonderen Charme verleihen.
Das Fruehstueck war schlicht exzellent – eine hervorragende Auswahl, beste Qualitaet und eine Bedienung, die durch Aufmerksamkeit und Herzlichkeit besticht.
Auch die zentrale Lage ist ein grosser Pluspunkt und macht das Hotel zum idealen Ausgangspunkt.
Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt – wir koennen dieses Haus uneingeschraenkt weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Very close to the station. You can swim in a river right in front of the hotel in summer.
Equipments in the hotel were not new as it’s a vintage hotel but I enjoyed it.

The hotel was full of dust, it seemed like no one had cleaned it for a month, even the small plates for coffee were covered in dust, the breakfast was very poor, I asked for a soft-boiled egg and I got an almost raw one, it was impossible to eat, the coffee was delicious, thank you for that too, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful
Loved this hotel stay! We got an upgrade and the room had a gorgeous view with a little balcony, very clean and yummy breakfast. Super location too, v close to train station.
Only thing was the air con wasn’t working but it was still fine!

Very good breakfast
The room's fridge is non-functional — it does not cool at all — and when we raised this with staff, we were simply told there was nothing to be done. Additionally, upon check-in we were asked to read and sign a list of hotel rules that included, among other things, instructions to keep the shower curtain closed to prevent water from reaching the floor. As frequent travelers, we have never encountered anything like this at any property. For a four-star hotel, both experiences fall well short of expectations.
Great location in town. 4 min to the train station, 3 min to the funicular and 8 min from old town. It was a very nice stay. The breakfast was very good.
I would not swim in the pool and the sauna needs one hour notice to use. The towels are small and thin. For the price they charge, I’m expecting a higher class of towels for sure. There is only one luggage stand. Our second piece of luggage had to used from the floor. Again, for what they charge, I’m thinking most folks have a his and hers luggage, so where does the second piece go?
