Important information:

Guests traveling by public transport can reach the property from the main train station by bus (N.2 and N.4) or by using the funicular Lugano Città TPL. In either ways (buses or funicular) you will arrive to Lugano Centro. From Lugano Centro station there is a direct bus (N.12) to Monte Brè that stops at "Aldesago", 656 feet from the hotel.

For guests with heavy luggage or walking difficulties: please continue 164 feet after the hotel by car, then turn left in order to reach the main entrance.

Hotel mit traumhafter Aussicht
Pros:

Die Aussicht ist traumhaft, das Zimmer war sauber. Das Frühstück war gut. Ideal: die Busstation ist direkt beim Hotel. Perfekt um mit dem Ticino Ticket überall hinzufahren. Der Bus fährt alle 30 Minuten. PP beim Hotel gratis.

Cons:

Im Restaurant wird man schon am Morgen mit bum bum Musik berieselt: der Bass war für uns viel zu laut eingestellt. Diesen haben wir leider auch im Zimmer und auf dem Balkon gehört. Nachdem wir das dann gemeldet haben, wurde dankenderweise der Bass leiser gestellt.

Fantastic stay at this super retro hotel with an absolutely fabulous view. Planning the next visit..
Pros:

Wow the view - absolutely amazing! Very friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant. Well situated for the public transport and they also sent the Ticino ticket ahead of time.

Cons:

The decor is somewhat dated.

Da auch das Wetter ideal war (ca. 30°, kein Regen), hätte es nicht besser sein können

Das Allerbeste war die Lage des Hotels: am Berg mit Blick über den See
UND unmittelbar an einer Bus-Haltestelle: da man mit der Ticino-Card mit allen Bussen und Zügen im Tessin gratis fahren kann, haben wir den gesamten Aufenthalt unser Auto nicht gebraucht

Pros:

Wir haben uns gerne auf dem Balkon aufgehalten, er war auch gut möbliert, die Aussicht wunderschön.

Cons:

Die Matratzen sind unbequem, auch die Duvets sind von schlechter Qualität.
Das Frühstück ist nur mittelmässig. Einziger Pluspunkt ist, dass der Kaffee serviert wird. Der Capuccio war gut.

Lovely stay with a pool and great view of Lugano lake!
Pros:

The hotel is 50m away from a bus stop that connects it directly to central Lugano. It provides a free Ticino ticket, so public transport is free for you. Very easy to get to the centre and back. In summer, there is a pool available. Access to the pool is a bit tricky if you have plastic flipflops - you do need to go downhill. If you have limited mobility, you may have trouble getting there, I don't think a wheelchair would pass either. For anyone else - it's very lovely for a reasonable price for the area! Some rooms don't have much of a view, but rooms facing the lake have balconies and the view from the terrace is lovely in the mornings. The breakfast is nice, I'd switch up the breads and baked options more, or it would be nice to have them pre-sliced. The coffee could have been better, I think that's my only complaint :) Staff were great and very helpful. If you need to do your laundry, there's an option slightly off-site but with low capacity.

Cons:

Just the coffee :) The beds are also too soft for me, but that's personal preference I think.
