Guests traveling by public transport can reach the property from the main train station by bus (N.2 and N.4) or by using the funicular Lugano Città TPL. In either ways (buses or funicular) you will arrive to Lugano Centro. From Lugano Centro station there is a direct bus (N.12) to Monte Brè that stops at "Aldesago", 656 feet from the hotel.
For guests with heavy luggage or walking difficulties: please continue 164 feet after the hotel by car, then turn left in order to reach the main entrance.

Great view. Good breakfast. Nice dining room. Good location. Good housekeeping. Nice room. Quiet, not noisy.
Some hot options would be nice at breakfast, like bacon and eggs. Staff could be a bit more welcoming but they were okay.

Fantastische Lage und schöner Pool! Trotz alter Einrichtung ist es sauber.
Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen (1970er). Hatte ein Einzelzimmer, was dann aber aus zwei Twin-Betten (80 cm breit) bestand. Erst auf Nachfrage habe ich dann aber ein Zimmer mit breiterem Bett (140cm) und einer Badewanne bekommen. Das Personal ist generell recht freundlich, aber nicht übermäßig.
Fantastic hotel with exceptional views of Lugano. Comfortable (slightly dated) rooms with fabulous balcony and breathtaking views. Clean and functional room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Because it’s right up the top of the hill, it’s nice and quiet. Excellent and friendly staff. Great restaurant with á la carte menu for dinner. Different special set menu option daily. We had the 3 course set menu each night and it was just brilliant. Excellent presentation. Perfect portion sizes (we only just managed to finish). Fabulous flavours. Great inclusive breakfast. Great pool area. The hotel is dog friendly, but no dogs allowed in the pool area (even if they are well behaved - don’t pee, bark or swim). 300m from the Fanicular down to the lake and back. Or take the fabulous stair path and explore the little walkways and hill side architecture - wear appropriate shoes! (Flat shoes, boat shoes, trainers)
On the first night of our stay we stayed in a triple room (XL double bed and single bed). The single bed was hard (not comfortable), but the double was very comfortable with comfort topper. It would be good for the single bed to also have comfortable mattress topper. Also the bathroom was in slightly poor condition/some things needed fixing and better clean. That said, we still enjoyed our stay so much we extended for another night but moved to a double room with XL double bed. This room was slightly more modern and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and in good condition. It was also on a higher floor, so the view was even better. Still very highly recommended.

Nicht gut… alles in sehr schlechtem Zustand. Runtergekommen.. Es liegt auf dem Berg und es gibt keine möglichenkeiten auszugehen.. das Essen im Restaurant im Hotel ist viel zu teuer
