La habitación estaba limpia y era coqueta, a cinco minutos andando del centro, los chicos de recepción muy amables
En el desayuno no puedes coger lo que quieras, es un plato único que ha que pedir, si tienes alguna excursión mínimo ir con una hora de antelación porque para mi opinión la cocina es lenta y entre que pides, te lo hacen y te lo traen no te queda tiempo para comer tranquila

Very friendly and helpful staff, relaxed place to stay with lovely views from the balcony and breakfast room across the green hills towards Monteverde. Tea and coffee available throughout the day. Choice of breakfast options. Did a load of laundry for us ($14). Comfortable room.
Room had only one small window with little natural light. Quite pricey for that small room.

The staff was amazing, helped with everything. Short walk from the centre, parking was easy in a parking lot. So tasty breakfast, lovely banana pancakes, yammy! Bed in the room was so good.
Did not have a view from the room and it was little cold because it is cooler in Monteverde.
Staff: check-in was smooth. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. She suggested places to visit and we did go to see the sunset (Pacific) and it was really amazing. The kitchen was very helpful for cutting the fruits (I gathered along the way). Breakfast was good, prepared to order. The ladies taking care of the breakfast were nice. Room was specious and well organized. Bathroom was well functioning. The view (of Pacific ocean) from the terrace was breathtaking. Parking was right around the hotel and seemed like a secure lot. Felt at home. Bonus was frequent visit by Garfield the neighbor's cat... I wish we had stayed longer at this place.

Although we stayed there only one night we find the place very comfortable. It is clean, well equipped, provides delicious breakfast. The staff is polite and helpful, fluent in English

Location, parking, helpful staff, comfortable bed, clean, availability of tea/coffee.
Some rooms small and dark. Photographs online slightly misleading, and the property has a hostel type feel. Shower rooms dated. Although tea & coffee was freely available in the dining area, it is not permitted to take hot drinks to the rooms and there are no in-room facilities for this. We felt the property was overpriced.
Great welcome from the receptionist when we arrived. She shwoed us to our room and said she could help with any booking that we needed to make too. She showed us to our room which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really good. Great that they provided all toileteries and a hair dryer. We had a good night's sleep. There was a reading area with sofa outside our room, although it was a little cold there. The communal kitchen was available for guests to use outside of breakfast hours and you werre able to put items in the communal fridge - at your own risk and it was very full. There were restaurants within walking distance, including a very good pizza restaurant, which was almost on the doorstep and would also do a takeaway - which you could eat at one of the restaurant tables. Town was really close by too. We had put some wine in the fridge and played a game after dinner - it was fun. Breakfast - there was a choice and it was freshly made, with table service.
Our room was down a lot of steps and we had a lot of luggage - there was no lift. The property is like a rabbit warren with rooms in all directions. It reminded us of a very grown up, very comfortable hostel. Please don't let that put you off, as we enjoyed our stay. Our room was described as a luxury standard I believe. However it was very small and we had little room to open our suitcases. Arrangements for breakfast could have been explained, as we had to ask other guests. There was a an outside area near to the restaurant that had a stove lit in the evening. Sadly we found it too cold to sit out there as it is very windy and chilly in Monteverde in the evening. The carpark is across the road from the hotel and is locked up at night. It made it difficult to transport luggage backwards and forwards. There is an area down a slope by the hotel where you can stop for a short while, but getting luggage from the car was still tricky.
