A real gem with great staff
Pros:

The staff are truly lovely. They are cheerful and obviously take great pride in the hotel. The hotel itself is like a secret garden with very zen like common areas and all sorts of beautiful nooks for reading/relaxing.

Cons:

Our room, though lovely, was very dark.

Sorprende el estar tan céntrico y al mismo tiempo tan tranquilo y relajado dentro del hotel, con muchas zonas para relajarse y estar muy tranquilo. Muy buen trato por el personal y los dueños del hotel.

Dormir dans un havre de paix.
Pros:

Tout est dans les petits détails: une très jolie décoration, des aires communes bien aménagées et confortables, idéales pour se détendre. Le jardin est magnifique. Tout est bien pensé et très propre. Un bon petit-déjeuner est servi dans une atmosphère accueillante. Le personnel est très agréable et aux petits soins. Le matin de notre départ, un petit en cas nous a été proposé car nous partions avant le petit-déjeuner. Nous avons aimé cet hôtel, bien situé et près des services. Il faisait un peu froid et humide lors de notre premier séjour et le personnel nous a offert une petite chaufferette, nous avons beaucoup apprécié. En quelques minutes nous étions confortables. Nous avons fait deux séjours dans cet hôtel et les deux fois nous avons beaucoup aimé.

Hotel cultural y con mucha naturaleza
Pros:

De partida, es un hotel que está en medio de la ciudad, por lo que te da la impresión de que será algo plano e instalaciones comerciales, pero al ingresar se encontrarán con mucha naturaleza y micha cultura indígena. En resumen lo recomiendo totalmente.

Very happy with our stay.
Pros:

Lovely stay at this rather quirky hotel in the very centre of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was huge (in the original part of the building) and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a really tight squeeze but we managed! Good breakfast and we appreciated the discounted parking rate at the car park opposite the hotel. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Großartig und absolut empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Wir haben uns in der gemütlichen Anlage und dem hellen, geräumigen Zimmer sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Team war großzügig und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird liebevoll als Büfett vorbereitet. Auf Wunsch kann man Rührei und frischen Saft bestellen. Alles ist sehr sauber und es gibt einen sehr guten Zimmerservice. Das Hotel hat einen wunderschönen Garten mit verschiedenen Sitzecken, die zum Lesen und Entspannen einladen. Die Lage ist ruhig, dennoch sehr zentral. In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Restaurants und Cafés. Wir ließen unsere Wäsche waschen, wir erhielten sie am selben Tag.

Nice hotel. Could be perfect with improvements

The hotel is beautifully eclectic with nice gardens and cozy places to sit

Breakfast was great.

Cons:

The shower was so bad in our room. Room 12.. It was either scolding hot or cold.. It could never be the right temperature so took ages to have a shower.. They tried to fix it but couldn't and did offer to change room for us but non were available so there was no resolution.. Someone will burn themselves if it is not sorted.. This was the only downside as the room was comfortable otherwise. But if you wish to call yourself a boutique hotel you have to get the basics right first and a usable shower is a good start.

Don’t miss this hotel when visiting La Serena
Pros:

I liked everything about the hotel ! It’s a beautiful place! The breakfast is very good! The staff trying to be very helpful! The room was good!

Cons:

Not much but there are different people working in reception. I got 3 different prices when I was going to pay cash. Not so much structure. No invoice.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre in wunderschönem,kolonialem Bau. Das Personal war jung, teilweise ein wenig überfordert, aber bemüht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war exzellent. Einzigs. Oe Ausnahme war der Kaffee, der zwar aufgebrühter Bohnenkaffee war, jedoch sehr dünn.Insgesamt fantastisches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, ruhig, sauber, gemütlich und nettes Publikum. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder
