El anfitrión nos recibió borracho, no me quejo de eso ya que fue un momento gracioso, solo que al estar en el estado que estaba nos costó entenderle, lo peor fue que tuvimos que salir a por dinero en efectivo para pagarle, llegamos un minuto tarde Al check-out y nos encontramos todas nuestras cosas fuera de la habitación y desordenadas, nos habían sacado todo fuera sin permiso
No me quedé porque el dueño me corrió, de muy mala manera
El trato del dueño
Thomas was so friendly and lovely, made dinner for all the guests on 2 of the 4 nights we stayed, and was happy to give out any helpful info he had. You won’t get better value for money for somewhere a minute or two walk from the beach around here. Great aircon, comfy bed, opposite a decent shop with a supermarket a short stroll up the road. 100% recommend.

I stayed there about 2 months ago but still wanted for long time to leave this review. The owner, if not mistaken Thomas, was super nice and a gentleman to me. He treated me like a family member, like a daughter really. Was making sure I was always ok and everything I needed he would do the possible to make it happen. Very close to the uvita beach
Room had a small problem but fixed straight away.
Traduzemelo sin canviar nada en castellano: La nostra experiència en aquest hostal ha estat profundament insatisfactòria i, en gran part, inadmissible, especialment pel tracte rebut per part del propietari, en Tomàs. Només arribar, ens va rebre amb una actitud molt desagradable, fins i tot amb faltes de respecte, i exigint-nos el pagament immediat sense donar-nos marge ni per saludar o instal·lar-nos tranquil·lament. A nivell d’instal·lacions, també vam tenir problemes importants: l’aigua de la dutxa era completament freda. Durant la nit, la situació va empitjorar, ja que el mateix Tomàs posava música a tot volum, dificultant molt el descans. A més, el seu comportament feia la impressió que estava sota els efectes de l’alcohol, cosa poc professional i preocupant en algú responsable d’un establiment d’aquest tipus. Cal remarcar, però, que les altres persones locals presents a l’apartament van mostrar una actitud amable i acollidora, fet que contrasta de manera evident amb la conducta del propi etari.
Nuestra experiencia en este hostal ha sido profundamente insatisfactoria y, en gran parte, inadmisible, especialmente por el trato recibido por parte del propietario, Tomàs. Nada más llegar, nos recibió con una actitud muy desagradable, incluso con faltas de respeto, y exigiéndonos el pago inmediato sin darnos margen ni para saludar o instalarnos tranquilamente.
A nivel de instalaciones, también tuvimos problemas importantes: el agua de la ducha era completamente fría.
Durante la noche, la situación empeoró, ya que el mismo Tomàs ponía música a todo volumen, dificultando mucho el descanso. Además, su comportamiento daba la impresión de que estaba bajo los efectos del alcohol, algo poco profesional y preocupante en alguien responsable de un establecimiento de este tipo.
Piraten Schaukelstühle
Es un hostal muy bien ubicado . De modo adiciona se destaca quel la habitación estaba limpia. Se tuvo un impase con el anfitrión, más sin embargo se resolvió sin mayor dificultad.
Staying at the Pirate hostel was an experience. Captain Tom is a character and makes the experience. The room was small but comfortable, lovely powerful shower. We had a room upstairs with a balcony and chairs to sit out and watch the world. People stop by all the time to chat. Supermarket is opposite and has everything. Beach is very close.
The kitchen facilities are basic, more like camping on a gas burner, but there us a fridge and freezer and basic kitchen items.
