Our Go-To Hotel, Every Time!!!

Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel an zentraler ruhiger Lage. Ein wahres Schmuckstück an Style und Charme. Frühstück war sehr vielseitig, köstlich und die Bar gemütlich. Wunderschöner Patio! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

The location of the hotel is very good, the staff is friendly, the plus is free parking in the yard

Cons:

I would only criticize the breakfast which was good but if you arrive later they will supplement it a little.

This venue has a big potential - yet deserves much more management attention
Pros:

Convenient location - direct proximity to the old town as well as the promenade. Magnificent building itself, with fantastic Christmas decoration. Own parking - especially valuable in the congested city center. Spacious room - with a very unique layout and decoration. Well equipped bar.

Cons:

No camera at the parking gate made me run a like a shuttle between the reception and the gate itself - by the time I was back in the car and ready to enter, the gates were closing again. Receptionist did not offer the choice of the currency on the (foreign, non-EUR) credit card and entered an unnecessary dispute. The worst thing: unbearable odour in the room - the building is old and so is the piping/sewage system - we had to move the bed as far as possible from the bathroom sink to "survive the night". Breakfast: guests had to fight for the food; everything was missing, from bread, through milk for cereals, eggs, cheese, yoghurt etc. The tables were not cleaned immediately after being released by the former guests which produced a cumbersome "traffic jam". Looks like the breakfast service team hate their job, very unpleasant and unhelpful.
