Lage, Lage, Lage
Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Zimmer sind aber sauber.

Cons:

In einem Hotel sollte es auch Personal an der Rezeption geben und nicht nur vormittags. Es wirkt gespenstisch, wenn man ein Hotel betritt und niemand vor Ort ist.
Es gab keine Bar, kein Getränkeutomat und in der Minibar nicht einmal Wasser.

Schönes Hotel, Servicequalität bietet noch Raum für Verbesserungen

Großzügiges Zimmer, Sauberkeit, Lage

Cons:

Entgegen der Beschreibung bei Booking.com besitzt dieses Hotel keine 24h-Rezeption. Diese ist nur bis 18 Uhr besetzt. Bei meiner Ankunft war das Hotel nur über eine Handynummer erreichbar, die am Eingang aushing. Obwohl bereits einige Tage vorher gebucht, wurde ich nicht vorab über diese Besonderheiten informiert. Anscheinend hatte man nicht mit meiner Ankunft gerechnet. Alles wirkte sehr unvorbereitet. Die Heizung bollerte am Ankunftstag über 2h sehr laut, unabhängig davon, ob man sie ein oder ausstellte. Vermutlich war sie nicht entlüftet.

Nothing. I had a confirmed and fully paid reservation, informed the hotel about my arrival time, and travelled from Berlin to Würzburg relying on this booking. Unfortunately, the hotel did not provide the service that was promised.

Cons:

On April 12 I arrived at the hotel according to my confirmed booking, but I was refused check-in at reception. The staff claimed there was a “price error” and refused to give me the room, even though the reservation was confirmed and prepaid. I was left outside in the rain without accommodation and without any alternative solution.
The situation became even more unacceptable the next day. On April 13 I returned to clarify the issue, but the hotel doors were locked and there was nobody at the reception. It is shocking to see a so-called 4-star hotel closed with no staff available for guests.
The hotel has still not returned my money. This experience felt more like a scam than a professional hotel service. I strongly advise future guests to be careful, as confirmed bookings apparently do not guarantee accommodation here.

I am writing this review with deep disappointment. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and had a positive experience, which is why I chose to return and book two rooms in advance for my recent trip. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disaster.

We arrived in the afternoon to find the reception completely empty. Following the instructions on the door, we called the provided contact number more than 10 times, but no one answered. We were left waiting outside for over 40 minutes in freezing snow (middle of Jan. this year) . With no response from the staff and no way to enter the hotel, we were forced to find alternative accommodation at the last minute in extreme weather conditions.

I have already contacted the hotel to explain the situation and requested a full refund to my credit card. However, to this day, I have not received any response or reimbursement.

It is incredibly disappointing to be treated this way as a returning customer. I expect the management to take responsibility for this service failure and process my refund immediately.

I look forward to a prompt resolution.
