Amazing property. Very interesting village. Incredibly hospitable hosts who went beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Very clean. The village was incredibly clean, too. We will be back!

Amazing introduction to China. We landed at airport after longhaul flight and took didi taxi to accommodation and were thoroughly spoiled as soon as we arrived. Taxi cost about 30gbp.
The place is super welcoming, the dinner, breakfast and lunch were the best we had in China. Super easy to get to great wall either in the village or 10 mins away by taxi mutaniyu cable car. The host Marianne was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much. Extremely characterful property. Highly recommended.

It is a true and authentic place, for those looking for tradition combined with modernity. Materials and furniture are top quality, but what makes this place special is the food served for dinner, really a unique experience. Один из лучших буткиовых отелей в мире. Я отдыхал в десятках лучших отелях мира. В том числе бутиковых, но НИКОГДА не встречал такого подхода к сервису и любви к гостю. Каждая мелочь продумана. Я реально почувствовал, что я дома. Мы перенесли рейс, чтобы остаться на одну ночь подольше и отдохнуть у бассейна. Потрясающее питание. Локация недалеко от китайской стены. Дизайн потрясающий с сохранением аутентичности места. Минусов нет.

We had a wonderful stay. Hosts were so welcoming and did everything in their ability to make us feel at home. Dinner and lunch was some of the best we had. Location is in a small village conveniently close to the wall.

My stay at CMYK Stoneyards was absolutely wonderful, from start to finish. The house is beautiful, the surrounding nature is stunning, and the food is the freshest and most delicious I have eaten in China. This place is a little paradise, the owner has done an incredible job at designing the spaces and the staff is super friendly. Big thank you to Marina for her warm welcome and support during my stay. Will definitely be back!

The facilities are a beautiful and well-considered modern update to the original structures that retain their unique, traditional charm without sacrificing comfort in any way. It was a pleasure to experience.

Absolutely beautiful rooms, wonderful hospitality and absolutely stunning fresh food

This place is absolutely amazing! The location is a beautiful getaway in a small village near the Great Wall and as a Westerner from Europa, I could not have wished for a more perfect stay to visit the Great Wall and enjoy some quiet time as a couple after a couple of weeks in Beijing/Shanghai. Upon arrival, we were asked what we liked for food and gave our preferences, which in response, we got the best high-quality food that we have had in China. As we were alone on the premises (we went off-season in September) we literally had a private chef cooking with only fresh ingredients from their garden and the best fish from around there. I mean…🤩 Later we got asked to make a hike to the Wild Great Wall where we had some insane views when on top. Not only did the staff pick and drop us off with a golf cart but we got the yummiest/best lunch pack to picnic on top of the wall. When we arrived back from our hike one of the staff members was ready to pick us up with the golf cart and some nice relaxing tea 🫖.

We initially thought that the price was only for breakfast but when arriving we heard that the lunch + dinner + soft drinks/water was all included in the price. So in the end we thought it was a true gem for that price with that amount of quality and made us book a day longer.

Overall this was one of the best and nicest experiences I ever had in my life in any hotel. Would for sure recommend going here.

We love the way the old building has been converted, retaining its historical charm while providing a comfortable and clean accommodation. Marina is an excellent hotel manager. We appreciated her taking time showing us around including the gardens and historical features. A Jie is really friendly and helpful too! We are lucky to have the living room to ourselves for the night we stayed. It was really homely with great AV equipment. The organic vegetables provided are all from the garden. Food is delicious and healthy.

Everything was just perfect. Good evening meal and local fine breakfast. Location near the great wall is excellent. It is a rather quieter area compared to the nearby valley leading to the main wall section in Mutianyu. The wall here is also wild though accessible which is really great. Views are everywhere and not damaged by "modern" life.
We went when it was already cold outside but the temperature in the small hotel was perfect and so cosy and welcoming with a lounge with an open fire where you can watch a film on a giant screen! Just wonderful ...

Contacts with the house keeper before our stay made our arrival very easy. The house was very comfortable, a nice blend of authentic traditional architecture and modern equipment. Lots of nice details. Location is perfect for a weekend getaway, very quiet village and nice hikes around. Our hostess was discreet, very welcoming and gave us lots of useful info. We had a wonderful time and hope we can stay again.

Everything, from the sympathy of the staff, exceptionally friendly, to the location and the food! Oh yes the food.... the Chef is a hidden jewel! Best fish I have ever had in China!!!!!! This location is very very close to be perfect in all senses.....
