The spa and fitness facilities are only available on request at this accommodations.

Our elevator will be out of service from August 4, 2025, until approximately August 20, 2025 due to a complete modernization. Unfortunately, the elevator and the sauna area will not be operational during this time. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Schönes geschmackvolles Hotel

Sehr schönes Haus, Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür

Already booked to stay again
Pros:

As soon as you arrive you are hit by the wonderful ambience. This attractive hotel looks newly decorated, sympathetically in harmony with a historical building. Everything is to a high standard. We received a warm welcome, the reception staff were friendly,  informative and  helpful. The location is prefect, right in the centre of this attractive town, with off street  privare parking.
Although the upper floors are accessible by lift, unusually there are 4 steps down to the lift, so it's not truly accessible for disabled guests.
The room was a good size and spotlessly clean, very quiet,  no road or street noise, with clever use of a wooden-look carpet in the corridor so it is soundless.
There is space for 2 laptops in the room, with one very nicely designed chair for comfort. But why only one chair in a room for 2 people? One person can be ultra comfortable, whilst the other is perched on a pouffe stool with no back. There is ample room for 2 chairs.
The shower room is small but well designed. The mirrors are perfectly placed for short people. Too many hotel shower room fitters must be 6' tall with no thought fot the vertically challenged! There is a well placed magnifying mirror.
The breakfast is magnificent; one of the best we have encountered (and we travel widely) with  unusual items,  huge choice,  including chia pudding, smoothies etc.
We have already booked to stay again.

Cons:

Nothing not to like, hence why we have already booked to stay again, but no coffee / tea making facilities. If these were available (plus a second chair in the room) we would have given a score of 10.

In terms of a 20 day visit to Germany, this was the most expensive town to eat in
Pros:

there was parking. We can to Bretten to see the Melanchthon house which is "right there"

Cons:

I have mobility issues and had to take steps to get to the lift which I found hard to do. Elegant overall but the use of mirrors to make the room seem bigger was disconcerting

Schönes Stadthotel mit Frühstücksbüffet-Genuß
Pros:

Zentrale Lage. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr großer Auswahl.

Cons:

Nur eine Schiebetüre mit Milchglasscheibe trennte das Schlafzimmer vom Bad/WC. Eventuell nicht jedermanns Sache.
