Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig für „Durchreisende“. Trotz der Nähe zur Autobahn ist die Lärmbelästigung gering. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und sauber.
Der junge Mann am Check-In war kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Es gab kein warmes Wasser, sodass wir nicht duschen konnten.
Die Damen am Kaffeetresen waren ziemlich unfreundlich.

Very pleasant stay. We have been using this hotel for about 30 years.

I like that they have improved the internet in the rooms and that are now international news channels on the tv.

Pros:

Die Rezeption ist etwas versteckt und befindet sich bei Coffee Fellows im Serways. Der eine Mitarbeiter der Spätschicht, nur der Spätschicht, war dafür sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, konnte alle Fragen beantworten und hat sogar bei der Bestellung eines der wenigen verfügbaren Taxis in der Stadt geholfen. Die Lage und Anbindung sind insgesamt sehr gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren in wirklich schlechtem Zustand. Stark in die Jahre gekommen, beschädigt und zudem nicht sauber. Uns war bewusst, dass man bei einem Motel keinen Luxus erwarten kann, aber das hier hatte mit dem vermittelten 3-Sterne-Niveau nichts zu tun. Die Fotos und die Beschreibung wirken deutlich veraltet und schlichtweg falsch.
Auch das Frühstück für 18 € war enttäuschend. Statt des angekündigten Kontinentalbuffets erhält man ein Tablett mit einer sehr überschaubaren Auswahl an Produkten. Für diesen Preis stimmt das Verhältnis von Angebot und Leistung überhaupt nicht.
Ein Hotelwechsel wäre für uns die naheliegende Konsequenz gewesen, war aufgrund der hohen Preise und der ausgebuchten Hotels wegen einer großen Messe jedoch nicht möglich.
